Course Curriculum Overview
I am happy to have this course because in our Electrical and Electronics department the faculty members are so supportive, well experienced teachers. They not only improve our skills and knowledge but also help us to improve our amplitude skills so that we can reach faster to our goals. This is all about pros and cons are they don't coordinate with the students after the class and they provide less time for assignments etc
Internships Opportunities
According to me every 8 out of 10 are getting internships opportunities in our campus and even they getting well paid for their projects. Internships provided many companies such as google , Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys and many other.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good in our college compare other iits which less nirf ranking than us . Students are available after their 6th sem which means after 3rd year they are eligible for the placements on an average it will around 11 to 15 lakh depending upon their branch's . It may even vary on skills
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college a yearly admission is around 1.2 lakh as a tuition fee and hostel fees is around 65k so it costs around nearly 2 lakhs per student there will no hikes after a year and infact it get reduce nearly around 1.75 lakh later on . They will provide scholarships of reservation and there will no scholarships from college to general category students
Campus Life
Yeh there is a huge greenery in our campus and our campus is plastic free zone and many other. There many clubs in our campus so students should involve in one or the others clubs ( Ex: Acm, Ieee, nitk racing etc.) In an year there will be around 6 to 7 fest in that incident is the biggest event upon all . There sports events for every freshers in every year. And there is a good sport equipment for well sports person and even everyone which every student in nitk can play without any restrictions. Class room are well furnished and clean. There is advanced equipment for every class like projectors 3-D view etc.
Hostel Facilities
We can choose our hostel according to our convenience. The hostel food is quite ok and hygiene. It cost around 65 k per year it is not worth it. Quality and quantity of the food is quite good. We need allot as per our need for the hostel allotment
Admission
To get admission in NITK surathkal we need to clear jee mains entrance exam later we need to attend josaa counselling through this counselling program we can choose the colleges later according to percentile and ranking josaa will allot the seats. So after seat allotment we need search the respective colleges official portal or website then there will be a schedule which means we need to report in the college (physical report) later on college will starts after induction program. Since it has been my first year the college so good they frequently talling us more they will try to improve our knowledge skill etc. I think my suggestion is to admission portal is that they should provide only the seats or in our choice filling according to their rank
