College management is not so good. One have to apply a lot of effort to get something in this college. But the system is changing slowly and hope it will reach a good destination soon.

This college provides space to other activities of students. Moreover, it was located nearby. This is a government college and it had a good set of faculties and college members. For getting admission, one have to follow the procedure of WBJEE entrance examination.

The course is mostly subjective. It covers almost every part of the syllabus as compared to other colleges. Labs are well equipped and maintained. Subjects are as per as the syllabus of GATE and the examination taken every semester is easy so one don't have to waste much time on focussing the theoretical materials.

No, this college does not provide any kind of internships or training. Students have to go outside for such activities.

Placements and job opportunities are not so good in this college. There are a few companies who come for placements. Students go for off campus placements here. Mostly CSE and IT students get placed in companies. Other branches have less chance for placement here.

Many cultural events are celebrated in this college. Festivals like vishwakarma puja, saraswati puja, etc are celebrated by the students. Moreover, there are techfest named Utkrisht and cultural fest names Waltz is celebrated every year. Other than this hostels organise their sports events and other programs .

Fee structure over here is feasible as compared to private colleges and even some government colleges. But, the facilities are not up to the level of fee taken. But it can be considered affordable on average as no extra fund is provided to college from outside.

There is no scholarship or any loan facility is provided by the college. Students have to go for personal loans or education loans for further processing.

Gender ratio is very poor in this college as this is an engineering college. There are clubs like literary club, sports,etc for extracurricular activities of students. Competitions like debates, Quizzes, speech, etc are organised by he students committee.

Hostels are not so good and not so bad. It can be rated as 3 stars. You have to shard rooms in the hostels. Boys hostels have limited seats but not in the case of girls hostel. Mess food is average and not so expensive. There are rules regarding the food and hostel rooms.

Yes, here we got connected to our seniors through linkedIn and facebook and it helps a lot in enhancing skills and developing our soft skills.

Labs are scheduled almost 4 days in a week. Labs exams are scheduled before end semester exams and its not at all hectic. But yes, the duration of examination process is very long. Its not fast and takes upto one and half a month for completion including lab exams.

For getting admission in this college , one have to do West Bengal counselling and have to pass the cut off of the entrance examination. Then , you have to visit the couselling centre as per your wish in WB. The admission date is provided by the college .

The faculty member of the college is good. The are qualified and helps the students not only in the field of education but also in extra curricular activities. They are very helpful and understanding. Moreover, they teach well their concerned subjects.
