Course Curriculum Overview
I am on the CSE Branch. The curriculum of CSE Branch includes the syllabus for artificial intelligence and information technology. The syllabus / curriculum for first year of your engineering life will be same for all branches. Their will be relative gradings, which is introduced in 2023 itself.
Internships Opportunities
BIT MESRA also provides the intership programme. ATLASSIAN visits BIT MESRA for intership and provide a pre placement offer to students at a average package of 84 lakhs per annum. Overall it good for the intership programms.
Placement Experience
The campus placements are so good in BIT MESRA as compared to other NIT's. The average placement of CSE Branch in k'22 was 22 lakh per annum, where as the highest was of 58 lakhs. Atlassian visits for the intership nd give students a PPO of 84 LAKHS . 5 students gathered the placment after getting PPO in BIT MESRA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of BIT MESRA is bit on a higher side compared to other government colleges. The fee increases by a rate of 10 present year on year. The Institute tution fee is 1,44,000 for the first two semester and gradually increases year on year. Overall the fee will be 18.56 lakhs for 4 years including hostel and mess charges
Campus Life
The college life of BIT MESRA is more on a pleasant side . The campus is full of greenery and different river points in tha campus . The clubs of BIT MESRA are more a good side. Some of the best clubs for the social life is Dhwani, Ehsaas, LEO and for the coding environment there are IEEE, IET, ACM AND MANY MORE. The campus has its own sports Complex with every sport facilities, two gyms and a cricket oval. The campus is over 780 acres
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are more of similar to other colleges hostels only. Hostel are quite good. There will be a two person sharing room, provided with the study table and the racks for storage. Their will be common bathroom per 6 rooms bathrooms have 4 washrooms and 4 bathingrooms. Mess food is average. Mess menu is changed as per students convinience every month. They will be appointing a mess secretary fr every hostel who will have the incharges of the menu and food quality.
Admission
To get into the premiere Institute BIT MESRA, you need to appear for JEE MAINS Examination. The score should be above 98 persentile to get CSE. Then you need to take part in the JOSAA counselling held by NTA, you need to select the college with the course you want to and need to further continue the counselling. You need to pay the partial admission fee during the counselling only and this fee will be deducted from the Institute tution fee.
