Remarks

The Management of the college is a little lazy. Sometimes they do not behave properly.

Entrance Preview

I opt for this college because this college has a very good faculty as well as infrastructure. The placement cell is active in this college for the students. Other colleges are very far away from my house. There have been proper tutorials for the doubts for every student.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

For a Commerce student, the choice of courses is limited. In Delhi University.there are only two Courses available i.e. B.COM and B.COM(H).In TODAY's world, every organization or firm has to maintain so many accounts and Journals. So, The demand for Accountant is increasing very fast. That's why I choose this option in my career.

Internships Opportunities

No, This is the only facility is missing in this college for Internships student have to find it on their own.

Placement Experience

1

This College has placement cell for a particular course like B.COM(H). This came into existence within a few years. Earlier it was not so much active. Now, they can get jobs easily outside. After the launch of GST students of commerce, the background can get jobs easily.

College Events

4

In Delhi University there are so many events are conducted. The college begins with an Orientation then Freshers Party will be conducted. Sports day also takes place in the Winters. As we all know Delhi University is famous for their College Fest because any fest is incomplete without shining stars of the industry.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fee is feasible as anybody can easily afford the fee of any College of DU because the maximum fee of a college will not exceed 16000 or 17000 per year and the average fee is around 10000 to 12000 only. If a person is facing a financial problem even though he can manage this much amount for their ward.

Fees and Financial Aid

YES, Scholarship is available for the students who are facing the financial problem and want to study here but then there is no loan facility available because the fee is feasible which can be easily payable by the parents.

Campus Life

4.5

As we all are human and everyone has a right to get educated. In the vision of this college, everyone can get admission(male/female/transgender). Intercollege competitions are conducted by the college and students show their interest by participating in them.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The food of the college is in a reasonable rate but the taste of the food is not so good or tasty and there is no Hostel facility available for the students yet, they have to look for PG for their living. But College has to arrange Hostel facility near a college.

Alumni/Alumna

yes, Seniors are very helpful in this college. They help while we taking admissions in the college. If you have any query regarding your syllabus or marks. They will help you in resolving your problem.

Exam Structure

According to Delhi University there are two semesters in a year. The maximum no. of marks is 100 which is divided into two categories i.e. 75 marks for Theory and the rest of 25 marks is based on Practical (which includes attendance marks and assignment). For passing the exam the candidate must have scored 40% in his aggregate.

Admission

Firstly,In Delhi University portal I submitted the Admission Form for the Admission. Then I have to wait for the cut-offs of Delhi University. In the month of June Admission process begins till the end of July. So,I took admission in July with 82.75%.College will take 3 days for a single merit list and announce the other list on the fourth day.

Faculty

4

The infrastructure of this college is very nice as compared to other colleges of Delhi University. As students come from different places so the availability of buses and metro are easily available. The teachers of this college are very much experienced as well as supportive also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
