Remarks

Good remarks: The college infrastructure is great, all the facilities are great. This was the first college in DU to set up ACs in the classrooms. Bad remarks: Please reduce on the number of exams.

Entrance Preview

This is the best college to be in. Your career takes a sharp upturn as soon as you enter the college. People look at you with respect, plus being in North Campus, the life is amazing and you will have a college experience like never before. Plus not to forget the best Annual Fest.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is same as any other DU college, but the way it is taught is different and what differentiates it from other colleges. We have got the best of best faculty who deliver the course curriculum in a manner which is understood by all and well implemented.

Internships Opportunities

No, at least till the year I graduated, the internship was to be searched and completed by our own, though some professors help you take up some projects.

Placement Experience

5

As the name suggests, for B.Com graduates, this college can provide you the best of the placements for a graduate. Companies that come to campus for placements tend to hire in bulk, and you can choose among the companies you would want to go to. Companies like Google, Deloitte, Bain are top recruiters

College Events

5

Freshers party - Formal and Informal - one organised by the seniors and one by college Clubs recruitment - you will have rounds of tasks and interviews to enter through the clubs or societies Specific clubs fest Annual Fest Different festivals Elections

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for any and every DU college is feasible. Rather the rent and food in private hostels are costlier than 1 full year academics. If you get through the college hostel, then you would be getting the cheapest and best education in the world.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not availed any scholarship/loan facility, but college does provide alot of scholarship options to help all those in need.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is great. I still miss those 3 years. Made best of friends, enjoyed life to the most. Experienced life away from home for the first time.Gender ratio: luckily in my year there was a great ratio that was never seen before. This college doesn't differentiate on the basis of gender. If you are a good student you are welcomed like any other students. All other activities or services asked for is provided and are up to the mark

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I want be able to comment on this as I was not part of the college hostel. But have heard from friends, that the life in that hostel is great. Though food is not great and there is very strict rules. But all these are news that i have heard off, I have not experienced it

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network and senior students are super helpful. Every year there is an alumni meet where you get to know how great this college is or how many lives have changed because of this college.

Exam Structure

We used to have semester system. So most of the time you are giving exams only. Every semester had internals too. So you can imagine the number of exams you sit through. One set of exams get over and here comes to second one. But thats the fun part too.

Admission

You get admission through your 12th marks. Work hard in 11th and 12th and entry is not that difficult. You fill a form, check the cut off, if you clear the cut off as per their criteria, you name will be in the admission list. Fill few forms, pay the admission fees, submit original documents. Go through a small interview round. And you are done

Faculty

5

Best of best faculty. The knowledge in the faculty is immense, they are writers of various book. The stream they are in, they have deep understanding of the topic. They try to ensure that no one leaves the classroom with a confuse state of mind. They try to give as much time as they can

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
