The curriculum of the course will give you a basic idea about how the software or IT industry works that are the basic tools. In the 1st sem you will have computer architecture that will give us idea about the working and integration of hardware components with software attributes. Operating system will tell us the working of the OS with respect to computer and basic algos. Discrete mathematics that will prepare us for yo deal with algos in future and graphs that are much needed to design or know compiler idea. Database Management System will train us to deal with data in a database. Then C programming. Like wise you have DSA in 2nd Sem that is important for job purpose and will make us known about various algorithms. Similarly HTML, CSS, JS important for frontend. Java will be introduced in 2nd sem.The syllabus is very old and is not designed to make you a pro in today's time. You need to simultaneously prepare for the market demand from other places like online or any other source.

The course fee is of 90,000 RS in general. But you can avail for benefits if you are from SC/ST and others. You can also go for TWS i.e. tuition fee waver scheme where in the fee is reduced by 55% if you are economically weak. Else if you belong to OBC then check out PRERANA scheme from Odisha government that you need to register in the odisha govt site. There you will get 20000 straight to your bank account. The college will be deducting 5500 rs from your course fee from your 1st semester as BPUT will be returning it to college that you deposited in University in you Councelling round.

The college is not focusing on any event or tech fest that I think is one or the flaw for college management. Here they are focusing on certain events that will be of their benefit. Ganesh Puja, Vishwakarma Puja, Sarswati puja are the various puja events celebrated in college. Apart from that Teachers day, Children's day, independence Day and republic days are celebrated. Where in students can enhance their management skills. This college has its own special day i.e. 12th December which is celebrated as the magazine publication day and the anniversary of the Founder Sourya Pattnaik who was an eminent personality. The college is having its own publication cell that publishes magazines every month and a cumulative edition of the year is published in 12th December every year. It is a chance for student to showcase their talent and writing skills. College is having a cybersecurity training center where in you can get the knowledge about cybernetics and get trained for industrial purpose.

The course eligibility is that you must have Mathematics in your 12th or Graduation syllabus and then you are eligible for the course. The application form can be found out from Ojee.nic.in website there you get the full detail about the exam fee , application dates and all. According to me the fee was rs.1000 and Ojee will conduct a 1st phase exam for MCA in April and candidates will be shortlisted and will be awarded with their ranks but if there are yet many colleges having seats left out then it will conduct a later Phase 2 where in the remaining students will be given rank after a prior online test which is same for both the phases i.e. having Computer and Maths. For general category we have no such reservation benefits but you can avail benefit in Ranking if you are from SC/ST/EWS/OBC.
