A Glimpse of my college Journey

Mainly I opt for Bsc because in my puc i had choosen science. I had interested in such subjects like physics and Maths and these subjects were in curriculum too. Why I chose only 2 subjects because of NEP 2020, that's we should opt for any two combinations. I thought I could do better in my course. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum i think especially in my college they should provide other than physics, maths, computer science combinations like Biology, chemistry etc. My course contains 4 years each year contains 2 semesters and I should write sem exams along with practical exams. Regularly the exams are held in the months of March -April and Sept-Oct, already i completed one year of my course based on that experience I can say that exams are moderate level and with some preparations we can pass.

The fee structure of my college if I give some examples Cultural Activities Fee, CDC Fee University, laboratory fee,Red Cross Fee, Scouts and guides fee, Study cirtificate, Admission Fee, Tution Fee, Registration Fee University, Library fee, etc. so the cost of my education is depends on course years.as i had completed one year of my course the total cost was approximately 6000Rs to 7000Rs. I get scholarship called State Scholarship Portal (Post Matric) or Raita Vidhyanidi and i had got 8000Rs Scholarship in my 1st year. In my college they made one placement cell in that they acknowledged all sort of placement newses and in several times some placement providers visited the college and offers some placements.

I am studying in 2nd year of my course. From my 1st year experience we did several festivals and programs where I enjoyed very well. Festivals like Cultural festivals called Janapada Jatre, Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebration, etc. and programs like National Science day Celebration, Maths day Celebration, Special lectures from different colleges, Environment day Celebration, Debates, Dance programs, Essay writing, Singing programs, etc. My College has a good infrastructure. The technological accessories have been adopted to all rooms like CCTV cameras, Projectors, Wifi etc.

Admission process was totally in an online platform.mainly at uucms.first we had met the college and ensure about teaching faculty, infrastructure, environment of the college so I had decided to take admission in that college.i faced no issues in admission process when i go through right submissions. The eligibility of the course was should pass in 2nd puc and my application fees was 4270Rs, my application date was 21/07/2022.my category was 3rdB and claiming reservation benifits under this category in Karnataka. there was no any entrance examination for my course. I took admission in Govt college that is Govt First Grade College, Athani 591304 Dist: Belgaum and the admission method was in online even it takes several minutes but the process was transparent.
