- Mess food is the worst thing and i dont prefer it
- The auditorium here is very small and it cannot hold a large audience
- The fests here were not at all good though they created a lot of hype
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum i chose was computer science because i found that this course has higher scope in future and the placement oppurtunities in this course are high. It makes us underatand how the computer works but i feel that teaching methods should be changed. Rather than teaching students they should make capable to build logic
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for general students is 81,000 which is institute fees and 64,000 which is hostel fee. There are a lot of financial aids available for lower caste students. The highest stupend awarded here is 1,50,000
Campus Life
There is a technical fest named sphinx held in november and there is an annual cultural fest named blitzschlag held in february. There are projectors in classes and there are a lot of sports activities here and a lot of dance and drama clubs
Hostel Facilities
The facilities in thee room are good. But the mess food is not up to the mark. I also found it unhygienic. Menu is also not that good. Hostel fees being 64000 is not worth it as the quality of meals in mess is so poor
Admission
The admission process was so tiring. There were a lot of formalities to be submitted during admission. The examination I cleared was JEE main in which i got 3402 rank . We can apply forcthis exam from the official site of jee main. The cutoff for the exam was 90 percentile which was quite difficult to clear due to high competition but I cleared it. The timing of the exam was 3hrs and i found the paper average. I actually didn't like the reservation criteria during admission because the lower caste were able to benifit from reservation and me being a general category was devoid of any kind of reservations and scholarships. I would want the government to remove the reservation criteria so that general people dont feel discriminated
