I like how spacious my collage is and how cleaning this collage is maintained
I like my hostel food and hostel entirely the accomodation that they provided
I like how labs are designed and we can learn so many things .

Dislikes

The weather it is very sunny and humid or very rainy .
I don't like how the pets like dogs come into the hostels
I don't like the grading system that is present in this collage

Course Curriculum Overview

I love doing civil engineering and the curriculum here also influenced me to choose this career. Our collage have advanced labs which makes me prepare for real world applications or further academic pursuits. I think our collage has well experienced professers which makes our subjects bit more easier.the exams are little bit more easier compared to entrance exam.the frequency and exam timing are also great

Internships Opportunities

The internship offers are very great in our campus the companies like phonepay ,Amazon ,Google , Microsoft comes to our collage .but they take us mainly depending on our cgpa.for good internship the cg should be around 8 to 9.

The placements of our collage are very good,but when compared to other iits it is less.the highest package offered for civil engineering in this institute is 52 lakhs in a japanese company.the percentage is 75percent.number of companies visited are around 300-400.for 7th sem the students will be eligible for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is consistent for so many years.the complete cost of our education including tution service fees and other compulsory charges goes upto 1 lakh.i have applied for fee waiver In my collage but still the results are not announced.tltge campus employment that I have undertaken is being a volunteer.

Campus Life

The names of fests which are happening in our college are Concetto the technical fest,srijan the cultural fest,parakram the sports fest. We have Asia's second largest library,with more technical facilities.coming to sports we have sports clubs which encourages us to participate in sports.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel are well organised and are very nice and clean .the mess is also delicious with nutritious food.i think we don't need pg the hostels are well organised and neat and clean. Registration process is just filling the Google form after getting institute mail ID.

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

I got into indian institute of technology Dhanbad after clearing jee advanced examination I scored rank 15000 rank for this rank I got civil engineering.this is admission process is completely done by josaa councelling for which we have to give our priorities they will give the result according to that .the advanced exam is comparatively tougher than other exams.for girls their is reservation provided by pm Narendra Modi because of low strength of girls in IIT

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

IIT(ISM)DHANBAD SINCE 1926

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
