- The placement percentage of NITJ is quite good and the package offered to the students is also very good .
- The food and the hostel heigine are very good and the hostel staff is very helpful and supportive.
- The faculty of the college is highly qualified and is also very supportive.
Dislikes
- Their is not even a single good canteen in the campus .The quality of the food of canteen is very poor.
- The campus is very far away from the main city due to which their is very difficulty in transport.
- The curriculum for the students is very busy and due to 75% attendance criteria we can't even miss classes.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for the NITJ is very relevant to the syllabus but the curriculum for 1 year students is very large as this large curriculum makes the students college life very busy .The exams here are at moderate level and the minimum percentage for passing the exam is 40% .
Internships Opportunities
For internship very less companies visit the campus and most of them are also paid so in case of internship the campus is not very effective . But as it is national institute so placement can be availed very easily.
Placement Experience
All of the students are eligible for campus placement depending on their CGPA .The placement percentage depends on the department to department but overall the placement percentage is around 75% .The highest package this year is 35 LPA .
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees in NIT J is around Rs.1,80,000 which is quite affordable in case of btech as comparable to other colleges.The complete course charge for the 4 years is around 10,00,000 including hostel and mess charge. The relaxation in fees for general is very less as for other categories has relaxation and scholarship has large scope .
Campus Life
The fests in NITJ are quite interesting.The groups of various club .Their are large no. If books present in library related to academics and other stuff also .The sports sector is very developed in NITJ as proper infrastructure is provided to the players .
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility depends from hostel to hostel as BH 1 is best for boys as it has very higenic and tasty food and other facilities are also very good .Menu is decided by students only .The process for the registration was very good as it was online so their was not any difficulty or we didn't have to run in campus for hostels .
Admission
The main eligibility for the NITJ is to attain 95pecentile in JEE Mains exam . To avail admission in NIT J we have to fill the forms on Jossa site first after having the seat allotment letter from Jossa the further process is done of the site of the NITJ .
