A mechanical engineer's review of MNIT-Jaipur

You can take admission in this course in MNIT Jaipur by qualifying JEE Mains exam. The information about JEE Mains application form, their fees, important dates and other details is provided by NTA on the official website of JEE Mains. After getting your JEE Mains result you can apply for this course through JoSAA councelling which is held after the examination. If your general or category rank (which will be mentioned on your result) passes the cut off list for this course in MNIT Jaipur, then you can take admission here. If you belong to a particular category like OBC or SC then you can take admission through that category. You have to give two exams in a semester and some quizzes which have moderate difficulty level. The admission process is good but the website lags sometimes; that can be improved.

The curriculum is overall good and it provides a good overview of the courses we are studying here. The faculty takes care of the need of the students and always ready for any queries revalent to the course. They also teach us our core subjects from 1st year and also let us perform experiments in lab classes based on the theories taught in the class. There are also tutorial classes every week in which we can discuss our doubts directly from the faculty which is very helpful. They take two exams in each semester and some quizzes of moderate level based on what they taught in class.

Internship opportunities provided are quite well companies like tata and reliance bpcl come for internships drives and also recuit us directly after internship by pre placement offer. Many o us get placed in Deloitte too

From 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Big companies like Infosys, HPCL, Reliance Industries Ltd, and many others have visited here for the recruitment. The highest package is Rs 64 lakhs for UG and the average package is Rs 13 lakhs in year 2022-23. The percentage of placement is about 82 % . My plans are to go for higher studies after getting my degree.

MNIT Jaipur B.Tech tution fee is Rs 62500 for candidates having family income more than 5 lakhs, Rs 20835 for candidates having family income in range of 1-5 lakhs and Rs 0 for candidates having family income less than 1 lakhs. My complete course of education is Rs 900000 including tution fees, hostel fees and others compulsory charges.

The campus area of MNIT Jaipur is very large. The college is spread over 317 acres having cricket ground, volleyball ground, basketball ground, badminton ground, and many other sports complex. So there is no lack of any sports activities here. There are also many clubs here which are run by students including cultural club, technical clubs, dance & singing clubs, art clubs and many others. So a lot of extra curricular activities can be done here. Apart from that we have different fests as well like technical fest called as Sphinx (held in november)and cultural fest called as Blitz slag (held in february). MNIT also has a library having all study material for the course and they provide you for free for the complete semester. The classrooms here here have all facilities like AC, projectors, etc.

Hostels are good here. Room space is okay (even considering the room for individual). They provide you internet either through wifi or ethernet connection and the speed is good. Bathrooms are good and they clean in regularly like once a ten days. Finally, the mess food and to be fair it is good and can be eaten. They also provide you special meal rarely on occasions. The registration for hostel is done simultaneously with registration for the course in college.
