Small but pretty good at faculties and academics. Not the best but obviously it will take place in the top ten private engineering colleges in Kolkata.

As I wanted to join the branch ECE so I have joined this college because the Electronics and Communication department is quite good at this college. And the college also situated in a very good location in Kolkata. It's situated on the VIP Road 10 mins walking distance from Kolkata Airport.

The course curriculum is good enough for a standard level. But if anyone is an aspirant of GATE or IES then he or she has to do a little more beyond the syllabus. The curriculum of ECE will definitely help any student to increase their knowledge in the field of robotics and communication

Being a third-year student I have not got any internship at the college still now. But the college provides different types of training during third and fourth-year.

As a privet engineering college, the placements are better than average. Mainly some software MNCs come to recruit in the on-campus placements. Cognizant Technology Solutions & Infosys are the mass recruiters here. Generally, they offer a 3.30 Lakh CTC. Some core companies from ECE like Robert Bosch, HITACHI, Jonshon Control also come to BPPIMT for recruiting, but they recruit less number of students. Last year Cognizant has offered a package of near about 5 Lacs per annum to some students.

The college charges near about 40K rupees in every semester for general students. And there is a Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme in the college which helps the economical background class students to study for free of cost. There is also a half tuition fees scheme available on the basis of the annual family income of the students family.

Loan facility is available by some private banks during the admission period. Some state and central scholarships are available but the students have to apply those by themselves.

There are two hostels present at the college. Girls' hostel has a pickup and drop facility. The hostel charge is near about 6k per month including food and accommodation.

There is an alumni network present in the college. But not that much effective. Seniors are quite frank and helpful. And it's a complete ragging free campus.

There is an eight-semester process going on right now in the college according to the system of MAKAUT. And every semester there is two college internals held by the college. In the semesters there are lab exams and theory exams. During the lab exams, there are external examiners present in the college.

After the publication of the rank of WBJEE, there is a counselling process. After completion of that counselling process, I got this college allotted after my name. After that, there is a reporting process in the college admission office for the admission and for other paperwork.

Faculty members are well qualified and quite helpful. Currently, a mentoring programme is there in the college. There is a faculty member as the mentor of each 20 students. In the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, there is near about 33 faculty members and more than 25 technical stuff.
