Course Curriculum Overview

In Mangalore University, marine geology has with duration of two years. Total four semesters and the fourth semester is the internship period. The faculty members are extremely talented. All faculties have a doctorate.

Internships Opportunities

The internship period for course is in the fourth semester. Students want to take a project with the assistance of a faculty in a duration of two months and they want to present the project at the time of dissertation in front of the faculties and an external examiner. Students can select the companies or institutions that providing internships

Fees and Financial Aid

The marine geology seat of merit seat and payment seat. For merit, the fee structure is 23000rs per year and for payment seats it is 29000rs. Twelve seats are for merit. When we calculate the complete cost it will cost almost 60000rs.

Campus Life

The manglore university campus is one of the beat campus in karnataka.This is the 5th ranking green campus in india. Here library facility is there. Students can access the library at any time between 9am to 6pm.

Hostel Facilities

Manglore university have 3boys hostel and 1ladies hostel. Boys hostel is very nice. In a there will be a bed, a table for study, a shelf for each student, and light facility and fan. 4meals are there like breakfast lunch evening snack and dinner. Registration process is very easy and fees is 2800 per month

Admission

There was no entrance exams. Direct application based on the graduation percentage. I didn't have any reservation benefits and i got admission through merit. We can apply through the UUCMS website to give the application

excellent in acedimics

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.I was very much intrested to be a scientist when i choose biochemistry because its one of excellent bioscience subject to pursue the carrier as good scientist and complete the phd in bio science field 2.I would say for further acedmic carriculum like to pursue phd and to complete bioscience related competative examination will be clear by just following acedimics but am not saying it will prepare for you to a real world . 3.teaching methods is excellent as i mentioned earlier but problem is they only stick to acedmics apart from that they didnt prepare for real world problem job getting moto that is problem 4.exams level of difficulty is mediatory not high or not low as of my knowledge but other say it very difficult exams nobody able to score more than 70%.

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

A good affordable college with variety of courses to study
