- The timetable of the college is very hectic ,I think it will be with every colleges
- The distance from hostel to college. In summer days you had to struggle for going to college after the lunch
Course Curriculum Overview
The college itself is very diverse in terms of courses,hence it gives a various opportunities to get into this college. Also Electronics and Telecommunication of this college has been established very early and well experienced,hence I decided to join this course. The college in terms of curriculum stands to the latest trends of the market. It follows the latest syllabus for each course . Every Branch focuses more on its practicals as it is crucial for real world experience. I think the course content can include much more practical based theory rather than classical theory which may help in more applications. The frequency of the exam is normal. You get decent time gap between your mid semester exams as well as the semister exams. It also include practical exams. The difficulty of the exam is quite medium side.
Internships Opportunities
Companies from Jindal, MCL, Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture etc provides the interships. The Training and Placement cell works hard to get the companies to provide these. Also you get time to time notification about these on your email itself
Placement Experience
For all branches both government as well as private companies campus come for each year. Specifically mechanical branch has quite decent placement rates with a good avg of 9 lakhs. Also other branch has it's own companies campuses.
Fees and Financial Aid
Generally government college fees doesn't change suddenly. But this year we had a increase in the fees in both hostel and course fees. The course fees varies from year to year as you proceeds through your degrees. Also you had to pay some amount for the registration of each sem separately. Various government scholarship can be availed by the students. There is a specialised training and intership cell to provide the jobs, interships etc.
Campus Life
Vasant X Samavesh is the techno cultural fest which is held every year around the 1st quarter of the year. Also the dedicated branch fest is also conducted by all branches. A college library is present where you have to register and you can issue the academic books of your course and max books are available. The classrooms are very decent with tiles and decent no of fans. Also dedicated smartboards are present. Various sports and technical as well as cultural clubs are present where students can join too.
Hostel Facilities
There are various separate hostels building present for specific branches and year students. Generally each room will have 3 room members with 3 beds and tables with chairs available. Meal are on ok side. Registration process takes place on the day of reporting.
Admission
The collage offers B.Tech courses,for which student can get seats from OJEE councelling on the basis of their JEE rank.OJEE itself release the cutoff list of colleges every year,so you can check the cutoff rank of each branch of respective colleges. For applications form you have to visit vssut website for all the notices for further procedure (including dates). The Reservation policy is available for the seats of the B.Tech degrees where you can get the seats. Check the cutoff list. There is no other specific college entrance exam for VSSUT The tentative dates for admission process is very hectic as they just get delayed day by day. Also the admission process takes 3-4 hours min where the college professor itself doing the document verification. I think it should be improved by involving computers.
