What Students Say
Likes
- The campus, it's green there are a lot of animals specially peacocks also the skies from here look amazing and stunning so that is like a bliss
- The placements of our college is pretty good compared to any other NIT in our country and that is quite an achievement.
- The infrastructure gere is pretty good we have Asia's largest lecture theatre complex called VLTC and that is amazing
Dislikes
- I hate that the curriculum here can sometimes be very taxing on the students and usually in the first year you have to attend almost 30 hours of classes every week and that is hell
- Also there's this rule of in-timing for girls and they have to get to the hostels back at 10 p.m. and the fact that our classes sometimes get over at 7:00 p.m. so we just do not get time to go out as per se.
- College gets a lot of money in grams but I don't think this pain that money on the actual development of the college and there is a lot of politics and corruption involved
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite relevant and the teacher all the basic important things that I needed in the particular field they also help the students in enhancing their practical skills rather than only focusing on theoretical knowledge the courses in the way that students after the completion of the degree can go out in the real world and not face as many problems as other student.
Internships Opportunities
You have to get an internship or rather Do A Summer internship in your third year mandatorily so that is a rule in our college and the stipend is somewhere between 50000 to 100000 and since I am in the first year right now I don't have much to say about the internship situation.
Placement Experience
The placements are required good the average placement offer is about 18 lacs per annum and ask for the highest placement it almost every year comes out to be 60 + log so that a set of as for the percentage of students place every year almost 95% students get place and that is also on the minimum and so the placement condition here is quite good and ask for my plans after completing the degree I would say that right now my plan is to sit for placements all though my inclination towards it might change in the near future so who knows.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees for the entirety of the 4 years comes out to be about 11 lakh rupees if you are in the general category although if you come under the ST or SC category then entirety of your tuition fees gets remitted and then the course fees comes out to be about 5 lacs for 4 years so I'd say the fees is quite affordable as compared to other private colleges. As for the scholarships they are many scholarships that are provided to the students in a college all the most of them are only need based and only a select few of them are performance based so still students who belong to the economically weaker section may avail the benefits of these scholarships and this makes the degree quite affordable
Campus Life
The students have amazing campus life as the campus spread over more than 300 acres of plant in the heart of Jaipur and Jaipur itself is such a wonderful city that you can explore our it of different culture share as for the campus the campus is less green and it also has a variety of flora and fauna. As for the face that happen in a college to major face happen in a college one is our annual cultural fest which is called Blitzschlag and and the other one is annual techno management fest that is Sphinx. Both of these face have quite a large footfall from people all over Rajasthan so that is quite a feat
Hostel Facilities
All the rooms are provided with the basic necessity like lights and one good thing about the hostels here is thatevery room has gigabit Ethernet and that is like amazing for students also as for the mess facilities I'd say the mess food is fine but it's not mind blowing and you cannot expect good food from a college mess so that's that.
Admission
the admission process includes appearing in JEE main examination that is held twice a year. After securing a good enough percentile. Then you have to appear in josaa counselling where you can get alloted a college based on your preferences and category rank
