Rahul Mehrol's Review On Wilson College, Mumbai

The civil crowd around college weren't so good. My college was surrounded to negative crowd also. Sometime I personally saw huge fight in which police were seen. This was the only negative thing which bothered me a lot.

The reason to chose this college was to do Bachelor's of accounts and finance degree. At those days only WhatsAppfew colleges are having such professional course. This was the reason I have to choose this college for my studies. The second reason was that it was close to my home.

The course was for three years with 6 semesters. In a year we had to attend 2 semesters and they were very important exams which promote us to next semesters. Subjects were very interesting and exams were too hard for the type where study I choose course curriculum also includes industrial visit which was a very fun part.

When I was studying at that time I didn't remember there was any such features. I didn't get an opportunity to apply internship. After completing the studies i believe I have to find my own ways. I started giving interviews by my own. So at my time my college was not supporting internship.

My college was a degree college only and my degree was a special course of bachelor degree specially in accounts and finance. Since it was just an ordinary degree college so the scope of getting placed by college was not all there. After completing the studies we have find placements and job opportunities by our own.

In very semesters we have one Industrial visit. The industrial visit may go up to 7 days. College festival were around the February or March. Sports events were in January. I my self had not participated in any events. I know few of my friends were in sports events or in college events but I was very far fom this.

My degree course fells into a special course which means it was not an ordinary degree course. My course was a specialize course in accounts and finance due to which the fees of this course was expensive in comparison to normal degree fees structure.

Yes there was scholarship, loan facilities for students generally for sc/st quota students. I didn't get any such but my fees was divided into installments. Therefore my fee which was to be yearly I pay those as per semester wise.

The college was set up on a highly posh place so the campus was in an extremely prime location. Peoples and crowd around college campus was good. The college library was the one place where we can quietly spend times in studying after classes. We hd xerox facility so we keeps are note up to date and college mess was one place were we settle are refreshments.

Our college doesn't have hostel facility. The facilities were awesome highly professional and experienced. The mess food was good but not extremely good I remember I used to order samosa a lot. The menu was good and even the quality of the food was too good.

We are still in touch we have our whatsapp group which is continuously active even are faculties are there in the group. My college group including my batch mates my seniors and juniors all were good biddies. I remember we used to have too much fun in our college life. I may not forgot but all memories are hidden inside when remember everything become so fresh and real. I miss those days.

The exam structure was divided into six semester for 3 years. There were 5-7 subjects increasing and changing as per semesters. The structure was like if we pass the first semester and then second semester we get promote to next year or further semesters.

I applies in this college and after filling the applications we have to wait for the merit list. My name was in this college now I can join this college for my studies. I had to go through the documentation process. I completed my 12 schooling from CBSE, so for me the eligibility criteria and documentation was completely different.

Faculty of the college were very respectful person. Few of the faculty knows me very well and rest of them I had least interaction. The college was having very good and professional teachers. the standards of college faculty are up to the mark. I personally like all the faculty and staff.
