Course Curriculum Overview
Our bachelor of fishery sciences course has total 4 year degree program and I think students who wants for a different course for studying always can apply for fisheries. Those who have a great interest in fish and aquatic animals and ornamental fishes can apply. This is best scope for them.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like godrej and nexgen etc are come to college. And willing graduate post graduate and PhD student sit on interview process .after interview the companies select students and offer jobs at a good salary level. And after post graduation there are so many opportunities to work with projects by different non government organisation and also by ICAR projects which are held different ICAR allied institutions.
Placement Experience
Any student who completed graduation degree can apply for jobs . And feed company like godrej ,nexa ,nexgen are come college and take interview of students and offer them jobs at a good salary. Both private and government sector 90 percent student are got placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees for a year 11420 and this amount paid 2 times per year when our final semester happen. We have 2 semester per year and each semester has two term exams one is midterm and another is endterm.during endterm we have to pay. Scholarship also given by West Bengal state government for wb residential students and for ICAR students national scholarship they get.
Campus Life
Our faculty campus is so good and enjoyable. Each year cultural meet are happening and annual sports are happening per year. Also Bengali Saraswati pujo and Biswaskarma pujo is held in this college. Also freshers welcome ,farewell ,and teacher's day ,nss programme also held.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels for girls and boys are different and good facilities are provided. Per student there is bed chair table wooden rack are provided. For meal we have to pay app. 2000 per month. And meal quality is too good and hygiene.
Admission
Admission process is by ICAR AIEEA UG exam or by any candidate who passed his or her 12th exam with physics chemistry and maths can apply for this college and based on merit list they can admit to this college. Yes reservation is there for OBC sc and St students.
