My Experience at MNIT

So I am pursuing Mechanical engineering here beacuse I was interested in studying mechanics and meachanil system since I was preparing for my jee .the course is good but some of the teachers mostly do not focus on praactical side and because of that the interest in subject goes down.The timing of exams are good according to me .

so in our college for btech students 2 tyoes of internships are provided one is 6-8 month internship and one is 6 month internship in final year there are many companies come to our campus for internships and you can also get off campus internships id ypu are skilled .

Placements is one of the reasons I chose Mnit there are very good placements here if you are good at studying you can easily get very high placement if you are studyingin mnit as I tell about my branch placement in mnit . I am studying in mechanical engineering branch and the average package for this session is approx 11lpa.and approx 90 percents of students who are eligible are placed .

So fee structure of our college is like you have to five some tution fee which is approx 85k per semester and if you are taking hostel facilities as well then you have to pay 32k per sem from which 20k is mess and rest is for accomodation . If you are financially not good then you are provided some scholarships and fee waiver based on your parents income and your category . But thisis only for tution fee you have to pay hostel fee completely.our campus have a good on capus placement opportunities as i know the average package for mechanincal engineerin is 10-11lpa and highest was 20lpa as per my knowledge .

I think MNIT is one of the best college in India for college life our campus is present in the middle of the city of Jaipur. there are many active clubs in our college . I am seeing that there is event in every 8-10 days on a regular . our cultural fest is 2 largest fest in rajasthan .there is also a good sprots facilities in our college.and in our college most of the clubs are run by students itself

So I am staying in the MNIT hostel . The hostels are very good well maintained good enviornment close to nature . Mess food is one of the thing which I dont like about our hostel . the mess foood is not good . I dont like it at all. except mess everything is good in our hostel . I think hostels are affordable and registeration is done along with course registeration on the portal of mnit.

There is a exam called jee mains which is conducted by nta. You want 75% marks in pcm in 12 boards to sit in that exam if you are a general or a obc candidate. So there are total 2 shifts of jee mains are conducted every year . I gave both of them and i scored 97.6 percentile in first attempt and in second I scored 97.5 percentile so from them the higher one is considered and because of my marks are good I got a seat at mnit mechanical engineering through JOSAA councelling.
