Likes

Campus life is very nice here because of it's location
Infrastructure is like one of the best for the Nits to have it has Asia's largest lecture hall
Faculty is nice and ready to help the students whenever required except for a few

Dislikes

Placements are going down because of the recession which sometimes give disappointment
Course is made very hectic and doesn't leave any room for students to relax especially for those who are in Electronics and Communication department
Faculty needs to change their teaching style

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is quite hard and the timetable is very hectic.Though relevant courses are being taught in the first year itself which will prepare us for real time applications.Though professors need to change their teaching style so that students can grasp maximum knowledge in the class itself.Coming to the exams the level is quite good for us as we are being given only 4 months for a semester and there are mid semester and end semester exam in every semester

Class Size: 123Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee in comparison to private college is quite less as it is a government college. The complete cost of the course is around 12 lakhs which includes everything. The college provides various scholarships to the financially weak students and the caste students whose income is less than 2-4 lakhs per annum. Stipends and campus employment is not been given in the first year so I ve not taken any such responsibility

Campus Life

There are two main fests in Mnit Jaipur one is Blitzschlag which is the cultural fest and Sphinx which is the technical fest. There are around 1-2 lakhs books in our library and we can access them till 5 pm in the evening and there various sports tournament arranged in the college for motivating and keep the spirit of sportmanship alive in the students.there are various clubs which are there in the college which can satisfy one's interest and the campus life is nice

Admission

It took a month for the josaa councelling to end and I got admission in MNIT Jaipur. I didn't get any reservation as I'm from General category though got girls quota my rank was 11897. The admission took quite long to end and it should not be this long there should be only 3-4 rounds instead of 6 rounds. Talking about the level of the jee mains my April shift was hardest maths being toughest, chemistry moderate and physics was on easier side

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
