Mnit in a nutshell

Mechanical is one of the best course of mnit , having exceptional professors , the practical applications taught in the course influenced me to take this course. The resources that the college provide are based on the latest technologies like 3d printing , exams happen 2 times per semester mid term and end term and also lab exams , the papers usually consist of conceptual questions and are of avg difficulty but the difficulty may vary based on teacher

Various companies provide internship from 5 th semester onwards under the job roles of cores and non cores both , whirpool, Infosys, Samsung and many more companies provide internship. Student are required to submit a project in the 4th year which could be interdisciplinary or related to there branch.

The campus placements are good almost everyone with decent skills get placed with a good package, students become eligible for placements from 5 th semester onwards, the highest package of 2024 is recorded as 85 lakh per annum in electronics branch and 1 crore off campus in mechanical department the average package of the institute is 13 lpa as per previous year as the data is not available for 2024 as of now , in mechanical branch there was about 89 percent students placed on campus

Course fees of the college is around 640000 for four year, the college also provides fee remission for financially unstable students based on there yearly family income, that is 2/3 of tution fees is refunded for family income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh and full tution fee remission for upto 1 lakh family income, along with this there are various scholarships like state scholarships , national scholarship and private scholarships, there are various ngo's which provide scholarship for needy students

The overall campus life is excellent , the campus of around 317 acres is situated on the jawahar lal nehru marg , there are many shopping malls within walking distance from the campus and the railway station and airport are located with 5km and 1 km respectively, the campus contains all sort of sports faculties like football ground, cricket ground , basketball courts , badminton courts , table tennis courts, volley ball courts, lawn tennis court , etc there are two major fests of the college the technical fest Sphinx that happens around October and blitzschag that happens around February , there are a loads of book available in the library including physical copies and ebooks which are accessible to the students in almost all fields of study, there are various clubs that run in the college like dance club , photography club, debating club, think india, Mavericks ,coding club and many more

The hostel facility is good specially the infrastructure, the only thing that is average is the mess food , the mess only serves veg food and in non veg they serve egg as the only non veg food , the hostels provide facilities like badminton court,table tennis court and there are 3 seater and single seater rooms available , the first yearites are given single seating room, the rooms are spacious and well maintained there are about four lifts available in the hostel and the hostel consists of 6 floor and 1 floor for terrace

The admissions to mnit is based on jee mains exam as it is a nit , you atleast require a 96 percentile without reservation to get admitted in this college , the details regarding the exam are given on the website of nta.nic.in ,I availed general EWS reservation which was 10 percent of the total no of seats in the branch, there are 2 lab and theory exams one is mid term of 30 marks and end term of 50 marks and 20 marks are based on quizzes, etc.
