Course Curriculum Overview

I am very much interested in computers which influenced me to take this course. It prepares us very well for the real world and how to get many opportunities. Exams are strict and timing is according to the exam level.

I'm not aware about the internship provided by the clg. Name of one company is Accenture which recently visited our clg for campus placement.............................................................

Placement Experience

From 5-6 th semester I think students are eligible for campus placement. Highest is 29 lakhs package and average is 3-4 lakhs. After the degree I have planned to be placed in a good company with good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Complete cost for my education will be around 7 lakhs including hostel and other things.For 1 year 160000 clg fee. Many scholarships are available Additional you have to register for every semester separately.

Campus Life

Tech fest was recently held in February. Name of the fest was Shrujan 2.0 . All types of book you can find in Library. You can take books with you for atleast 7 days after 7 days fine will be applied. Facilities are good and projector is there in Every class room for better study experience

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are good 2 fans are available and bed will be provided according the size of the room. Meal quality is decent you will get 6 days non veg but in evening snacks you will only get Tea and Biscuits. Registration for hostel will be provided along with admission process.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

To take admission in our clg you must appear JEE exam . I took admission on someone's reference who send me a online form for my details which I filled up and that form was sent to our college and admission date will be provided by the Collage and youhave to go their and take admission. In GIETU clg exams are taken very strictly. Timing are different according to the exam,like in internal exam you will get 1.5 hour and in semester you will get 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
