- Placements are also decent for core branches and for circuital branches it is much better.
- Campus life is good everything is available in the campus so you don't need to go out every sport facilities available every shop is available inside the campus
Dislikes
- In some courses attendance is compulsory 75%.
- Strict discipline rules you can't go out after 10 p.m.
- No coding culture not much sports culture.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical course is tough according to me in compared to other branches like CSE civil metallurgy and I think you have to study a lot for good grades there are two examinations mid term and end term in one semester and I think the curriculum is good for being a mechanical engineer I choose this course because of my JEE rank only . And according to me mechanical course is very hectic and boring so if you are not interested in mechanical try to choose circuital branches only. Quality of studies good in campus.

Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester various companies visit MNIT like deloit JP Morgan Goldman sach and Amazon and their offer jobs in IT consultant and core jobs the core companies are Hero motocorp Bajaj Bharat CPL highest package is of 64 lakhs which is of electronics department and CSE department and average PACKAGE is about 11 to 12 lakh and in mechanical branch average packages about 10 to 11 lacs percentage of students getting placed is about 85 to 87% my plan is to take a job after degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no tuition fees increase policy because this is a government institution and the fees is fixed by the government only which is 62500 for tuition fee for semester and other fees are also included which comes about 20000 semester so overall 80 to 90 thousand is the fees excluding hostel. Hostel fees is 32000 for each semester . fees remission is given to categories SC and ST and income based remission is given to OBC and general candidates. There are many volunteering job roles available in various events.
Campus Life
There are two fest in Mnit .first is blitzshlag and second is sphinx . They were being held in months of November and February the books available in library are too much there are many books available in the Book bank and the library the classrooms are fully AC equipped the lecture halls are fully and digital boards are also there sports facilities are very good all the sports are available like basketball football cricket ground table tennis gym basketball all are available. clubs are also available like dance club, MC square level X and debate club drama club.
Admission
The admission in this college is through JEE mains examination it is held two times in a year in January and April and its application form is released in December month the students who have taken science mathematics are eligible for this examination and minimum 75% in 12th boards is required for admission in NIT. The result is based on percentage system and I think NTA should improve its shift distribution system.. many times it has been seen that all the brilliant students are accumulated in one shift only so that's make competition very tough for that shift so I think it should be improved.
