Unveiling the MNIT

I choose electrical engineering because of potential career opportunities and to know about how electronics work. I can't say much about how curriculum prepares me about real world because I just have been here for nearly 1.5 semester but I can say about till now that course is outdated and boring and no significance in real world.I think course should more align with modern technology rather than teaching just old syllabus.Difficulty level of exams here is good and frequency of exams is quite common as in other engineering colleges.

I can't about this because I am in first year and I don't know about name of companies and roles offered right now but there are some internship like DAAD ,EPFL, CERN (information which I got from senior).

As I got information from seniors campus placement starts from the end of third year in college . Companies like Amazon , Airtel .Adobe , Flipkart,jp morgan , Expedia , Tata steel ,Texas instrument , Paytm , reliance, Goldman Sachs etc. visited mnit in last year . Highest placement offered in 2023 was around 64 LPA I think it was for some IT role and average package of MNIT is around 13 lakhs and percentage of students getting placed is 82% .As I am in first year so can't say much about after degree plan but it would be like to get a decent placement.

The tution fees per semester is around 62 thousand and there is scholarship available for categories like whose family income falls in category of 1 to 5 lakh they will have to pay just 1/3 tution fees and whose family income falls in category of below 1 lakh their tution fees will be nill but institute fees around 20 thousand per semester is compulsory for all. There is also one time admission charge around 16 thousand and security charge around 15 thousand which is refundable .I haven't taken any employment as of now so can't comment on this .

Campus life in mnit Jaipur is very much excited because of various club's events, technical festival and cultural festivals. Technical fest of MNIT named as SPHINX is largest technical fest in Rajasthan,there is no fix schedule for this but it occurred in November in 2023 which is my first year in college. Annual fest of MNIT is BLITZSCHLAG which is also celebrated as cultural fest . MNIT library provides books in different fields like technology, humanities and literature. All most classroom of MNIT are equipped with projectors for teaching.I can say this is best part about mnit that sports facilities in mnit are awesome. There is a basketball court ,4 badminton courts, football and cricket grounds all are at very good level . I think any student who run any club or group can improve his/her personality with communication skills and leadership skills.

I got H14(Vinodini hostel ) in mnit which is newly constructed so rooms are preety good, in first year there is 3 students per room .LAN service is provided in room with good data speed .I will say meal quality of mess is average , there is variety in menu but don't know why it tastes same every day . Registration for hostel is done at admission time and fees for hostel is 32 thousand per semester,I think which is reasonable.

I filled jee mains application form from nta website in 2023 I prepared hard for this exam as percentile above 97.5 is required in this exam to get good nit with decent branch,after getting a good enough rank to get mnit Jaipur with my prefential branch , I participated in jossa counseling. After confirming seat we got a main from mnit about our credentials like I'd password , about submission of tution(62,500) and hostel(32000 per semester) fees and they also told us about physical counseling dates. I went there for physical reporting with my parents as I got seat from OBC quota so obc certificate was required there along with other formal documents (marksheet,scorecard, identify,seat acceptance letter , medical certificate) ,it took around 2 hours in arranging and verifying documents in college, to be very honest it was hectic and exciting I think they could have informed us earlier about that sequence of documents but no worry I think it was good .
