Course Curriculum Overview
The course has been quite the Rollercoaster ride. They have a special curriculum, introducing core subjects in the first year. So we had 9 subjects in the 1st sem and 8 subjects in the 2nd semester. It was quite tough to adapt to it. But it was a good experience.
Internships Opportunities
The highest internship stipend that I heard of was of 60000. Given by Texas. Internship opportunities are available after completion of your 2nd year. The intern will of six months during your sixth or seventh semester
Placement Experience
The campus had a nice placement record which made it stand as the 6th NIT institute all over the country. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung other high tech companies visited the institute. Around 695 offers were made with an average package of 12.43LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarships are given by the institution based on caste and other categories. Students who are eligible for the scholarship need to first apply on NFS website and then directly submit their documents. Campus employment opportunities are availed only for MTech students.
Campus Life
Well to say the truth, eventhough I have been here for more than 6 Months, there were only two big fests that were organized in the institute. The campus life has been good so far, with good professor and student interaction, and peaceful environment.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel serves only vegetarian food. I think that it wasn't worth to pay 32000 for the hostel. Only the newly constructed hostels had nice hostel rooms. The hostels which were present from the starting of the institute didn't have a welcoming room.
Admission
I have opted this course through jee mains 2023. After getting 99.27 percentile in the 1st attempt, I have searched for colleges. I personally had interest towards computer science and engineering, so I searched for colleges offering this course. I came across Malayvia national institute of technology, Jaipur and applied to it through JOSAA counseling.
