What college is all about

The curriculam includes some good practical labs which help us gain practical knowledge about the subject. It prepares us for the real world aspects as they give us practical knowledge and also the applications of the things they are teaching. Some professors are not good enough and do not teach well which makes us face difficulties. The exams are held twice a semester.

There are internship opportunities in the 3rd year itself. In the summer holidays the students are offered internships which they can do and the stipend offered are also good. The companies that come are infosys, hero maruti suzuki etc.

The placements in the college are good enough as the average package for cse is 18 lac which is quite a good amount. The conpanies which visit are infosys, maruti suzuki, hero and many others. The highest package was 64 lac for last year and the overall average was 12 lac. The percentage pf students getting placed was 80%. After the degree i plan to get placed through college and if not i will try to sit in interviews off campus.

The fee structure includes 1 lac for institute fees and additional hostel charges for each semester. There are also a lit of scholarships avaialable to help people who are not that well off and cannot pay the fees. There are scholarships according to the family income, academic performance , area they belong to and many others.

There are 2 major fests held in the college. Ine of which is sphinx which is a technical fest held in november and the other one is blitzschlag, a cultural fest held in february. A lot of books of various topics are available in the library. The classrooms are spacious have acs and also boards for presenting. The sports facilities are also goof as there is a cricket ground, area for badminton, basketball court and many others. There are also a number of clubs in the college

The hostel fees is 80000 for a year and is affordable as there are spacious rooms, mess food and other facilities. The food in mess is not that good in night and sometimes hygiene is not good. The registration process for hostel was through a website and an email was sent which alloted us a room. The hostel was alloted in the campus itself.

I got the admission through josaa councelling into btech computer science of this college. I had to fill the form for josaa including all the details and had to priortise colleges according to which they were to be alloted. The application fees was also to be paid through josaa's site only. I had 98.97 percentile in jee mains which got me into the college through obc reservation.
