- Campus is very big as well as beautiful infrastructure.
- Electrical course was quite chill and we got chance to explore other domains too.
- Though 2024 batch placement was worst in history, still college tried to provide placements to max. students.
Dislikes
- Faculties are worse. They dont compromise with students.
- Administration is even worse. Dont allow students to work freely and impose too many hurdles which make students loose interest in extra curriculars.
- Restrictions are the hell!They have made college a school literally.
Course Curriculum Overview
1.I was quite interested in electrical domain, so I opt for this course. 2.Also this branch has an extra edge that software companies also allow atleast 3 top branches to sit for placements. So one can explore interest in core as well as non core profile.
Internships Opportunities
1.I got internship at DASSAULT SYSTEMES as SDE role for 6 month duration followed by full time employement after completion of internship period. Stipend:30000 2.At internship, I was in Solidworks team in Drawing department. 3. Company is a French MNC and has a very good empoyee friendly work culture.
Placement Experience
1. For placements students are eligible from 7 sem onwards . For on campus internships - from 5 sem 2.This year placements were drastically affected! 3. Highest package - ATLASSIAN Profile -SDE CTC - 82 lpa Average package -6to 7 lpa this year
Fees and Financial Aid
1. Tuition fee- 60000 per sem 2.Other charges - 18000 per sem Total - 78000/- 3. Hostel fee + Mess fee = 12000+ 20000=32000/- per sem Grand total = 78000+ 32000=110000/- per sem 4.Tution fee varies w.r. t. income criteria. 5. Scholarship ( which i availed ) - Rajasthan Sarvajan CM Scholarship - 27000 per year 6. Campus placement -I got placed in Dassault Systemes CTC - 10 lpa Internship stipend ( 6 month) - 30000/- per month.
Campus Life
1.NIT Jaipur campus is one of the most beautiful NIT campus. Vltc adds to its beauty. 2. College life was a fun along with learning lot from peers. 3. There are too many social clubs inculding cultural as well as technical clubs. 4. Clubs helped me to interact with people and become a social human being, improved my communication skills and boosted by confidence a lot! Annual techno fest - SPHINX - oct or nov Annual cultural fest - BLITZSCHLAG - feb.
Hostel Facilities
1. Rooms were spacious with good table chair, bed 6 feet long, proper cupboard, recks and window with grills, power plugs and LAN connection. 2. Food quality has degraded since last year. 3.Hostel fee per sem - 12000 quite cheap.
Admission
1.Admission process took place through JOSAA councelling or NIT's and IIT's. 2.Qualifying exam was JEE MAINS in which I got 99.14 percentile to get into NIT Jaipur with EE branch through GENERAL quota. 3. JEE MAINS is held twice every year, one in January and other in April. It is quite difficult and competitive exam to get through.
