Is NIT jaipur best college of north

The chemical engineering branch is one of the most versatile engineering branches in the industry. A Chemical engineer has to find solutions to a problem related to industries, production, and innovation by designing plants and reactors for ease of work with maximum safety. The oil industry, petrochemical industry, average industry, thermoplastics, nuclear plants, and semiconductor designing are the common fields of chemical engineering. The glitch that I found in this course is that there are no practical classes or labs for the first year and I think this should be improved. Each semester chemical branch students have to appear in 2 exams one is the MTE(mid-term examination) of 30% weightage and the other is the ETE(end-term examination) of 50% weightage and rest 20% comes under CWS(classwork sessions).

Many companies came to give internships such as apple,Microsoft and Amazon. Last year more than 50 ppos offered to students of mnit in internships. After slecting students through tests and interview companies give them training and offer them ppos according to their performances.

Being an NITian the placement is the only thing you have to least concern about. Because all major companies and recruiters come for placements and offer packages according to the skills of a student. The highest package was 88lpa and the average was something around 12-13 lpa. Almost 80% to 90% of students get placed every year including civil and metallurgy branches. I plan to start my startup after getting my degree

Fee structure of my college is designed according to income category in which their are 3 types. 1 . Students with income 1 lac and below have to pay only institute fees and hostel fees if they choose to live in college hostels. 2. Students which comes in category of 1 to 5 lac annual income have to pay 30_40% of their tuition fees according to their income. 3. And Students who comes under the third category which is income above 5 lac has to pay complete tuition fees counting hostel and institute fees as well. Also, our college gives us various opportunities for scholarships and education loans.

Our college have an annual cultudal fest called Blitzschlag and a rajasthan's biggest technical fest called sphinx. And various other small events such as department days,hostel days and youth fest which encourage students to participate in various physical activities. NIT jaipur had central library a gold mine for smart people . You can access each and every journals, course books ,other fictional or non fictional books . NIT jaipur has Asia's largest lecture theatre complex called vivekanand lecture theatre complex which is entirely safe from earthquakes and floods. Classrooms are well maintained with lights,ACs, projectors etc. Our college had Olympic level sports facilities for almost every sports such as basketball, cricket, badminton, tennis, football, volleyball etc. Every year there is inter NIT tournament where all nits all over India compete in various sports.

There is more than 20 hostels in campus separate hostel for boys and girls. First year students get triple sharing room with all facilities such as personal cupboard, bed, proper lights , study table. After first year you get your personal roo.s in hostels with all these facilities. No stove or gas allowed in hostels you can have boiler or induction for cooking. One can register for hostel through theri erp given by college and are very affordable. But still you have loan facilities for hostel with minimal interest.

For admission to NITs and IITs, you have to appear for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) which is conducted by NTA. Jee Mains is an Exam for NITs and Jee Advance for IITs and students who qualify for Jee Mains are allowed to be admitted to MNIT. Nearly 11 lac students appear for jee mains out of which only top scores have the opportunity to get admission in NIT Jaipur. The cutoff for NIT Jaipur is around 97+percentile for general category students. For Obc and other categories, it varies from 92 to 96 percentile. Since we all know how competitive Jee is and several chances given are also very less this is one thing I didn't like.
