- clean campus with lots of trees and plants
- hostels are clean and there is no scene of ragging etc
- mess food is better as compared to other colleges
Dislikes
- more focus on attendance and assignment rather than development of skills
- tests are of local college level and that also got cancelled this year
- sports facilities are pathetic and there seems no scope of improvement
Course Curriculum Overview
College syllabus complies with the gate syllabus.classes are for 5 days a week and 2 days holiday. there are 2 exams in a semester a mid semester of 30 marks and end semester of 50 marks and the rest 20 marks are for quiz,assignments etc.exams are not too tough. conceptual questions are asked and mostly from the topics which are covred in class
Internships Opportunities
very few companies provide in. campus internships. you have to find an internship on your own . companies come during the 5th semester for internships . 2month internship is compoulsary in curriculum. internships are available mostly for cs/it students in campus.
Placement Experience
placements are good in circuital brances cs it ece and average package lies b/w 12-17 lpa and overall average package is around 10 lpa around 80-90% students get placement and others either opt for higher studies for prepare for govt exams
Fees and Financial Aid
the total fee for the course is around 8 lakhs additional hostel fee is 50 thousand per year in which mess is included sc/st are exempted from the payment of tution fee which is about 120000 per year gen and obc students with income less than 1 lakh per year get tution fee remission(100%) and with income b/w 1-5 lakhs get 50% remission
Campus Life
one technical and one cultural fest is held in a year fest are not that great when compared to other nits or even decent private colleges libary opens for only 6 days a week from 9 am to 9 pm . books of all courses are available sports facilites are not good as no coaches are there for separate sports and the grounds and courts are also not maintained. infrastructre is decent with some buildings under construction. overallall campus life is moderate
Hostel Facilities
in 1st yr mostly 4 seated rooms are provided. some 2 and 3 seater rooms are also there. 2nd and 3rd yr is provided with 2seater rooms and single in final year mess food is good in 1st yr mess and in 2nd and 3rd yr hostels its decent and in final hostels its good again. pg and rooms is difficult to find as campus is too away from city
Admission
to be eligible for btech class 12 should be completed with pcm. after jee mains we have to apply for josaa councelling to get into nit and iit. once you get a college report physically at the college and complete the admission proceedings according to the rules and polices of that particular college. Revervation benefits are there for sc st obc ews and girls. In nit there is home state quota also.
