Likes

Very good infrastructure.Campus extends into an area of over 312 acres.
Wide range of clubs for enhancing soft skills.College fest is awesome.
Faculty are well qualified and curriculum is good.

Dislikes

Compulsory 75% academic attendance rule.
Some hostels are old and still functioning.
Mess food is not that good they need to improve there quality and menu.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum in electrical engineering is positive for its relevance and comprehensiveness, offereing a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. My decision to choose this course was my interest towards power system , circuit theory and electronics.There is lot innovation going in feild of Electric vehicle. Exams for thgis course is completely based on curriculum.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 62500 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement is decent with average package of 12lpa .More than 200+ companies visited the campus offereing placaements to 800+ students.Both tech and core companies are there.Percentage of placement is around 88%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tutuion fee is 62500 and is regulated by central government as it is institute of national importance., hikes in fee will depend on government. complete cost of eductaion is around 8 lakhs. There is different scholarships like op jindal which is available.

Campus Life

My overall experience with campus life was vibrant and engaging, with a strong focus on both social and academic aspects.Annual cultural fest is "Blitzchlag" which helf in month of feb every year and annula tech fext is "sphinx", held in november. Library is reach with books and we have asia lasgest lecture complex and classrooms are best with good infrastructure.

Admission

The admission process through the IIT JEE Mains exam and JoSSA counselling. Eligibility for the Course was Intermediate education with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.Application was released by National Testing Agency(NTA) and application fee was 1000.Exam is held twice in a year with different slots. Question paper is objectice type and difficulty level is moderate depends on your accuracy and depth of knowledge of subjects.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
