THE AVERAGE EXPERIENCE OF VIT STUDENT

The faculty of the the college is good as compared to other collleges in their competition.The college has flexible curriculum as it offers Choice your own degree program to students, the which the students are provided with options to choose the perfered subjects and area of specialiozartion regardless for their pergrams.the faculty of the college are real world experienced workers and the people who have specialized in there respective feilds. The college curruculum for first year is mainly textual based rather than practical based which needs to be focused as students tend to get bored graining only textual knowledge.The faculty upload all material for examination on online platform know as vitop in which students can access every faculties notes and assingments.Vit conducts total 3 exams in one semester which consists of two cats and one fat examination which is conducted in intervals of 1-2 months each.The difficulty of examination in normal to hard range.

The tution fees depend on the marks scored in viteee examination, as the lower your mark lower your fees and higher your mark the higher your fees. the fee categiories consists of total 5 categies nad fees varies for each category , with least of 1,75,000 rupee and highest being 5,00,000 rupee excluding hotel fees. Every year college conducts scholarship examination for students, which provides upto 90percent scholarship toi student.The difficulty of this examination is very high as there is more competition and its motive is to test the skills of students . this examination is mainly for students but sometimes it includes studemts from masters and phd studnets included. I personally hasd a opporntunity to take part in app development(Mukham-facial recognition app) which is developed by students. this opportunity enabled me to learn many important things regarding app development but it also helped me to learn value of teamwork and friendship. Its depend on student to untilize these.

VIT conducts a techican fest known as VTAPP and annual fest know as Vitopia. both the event are conducted and managed by studends which includes the development of students and also gives them opportunity to interacte with outside world to gain experience ion inductrial level. The is big but not that big to support the flow of student in the college. the library is overcroweded and less accessiable.the classromes and the labs are very good . vit counduct sports fest in interval of every 6 months which enables students to experience various sports and also keeps them motivated as well as motivates them to stat healthy. The clubs are mainly lead by senior year students. the senior of this college are very friendly and they provide fresher with many wonderfull opportunities, overall the college has very friendly and healthly atmosphere.

th e hostel has very good atmosphere as the college is ragging free and also the infrasturcture of the room are very good. the meal qualty is not upto the mark but we can say that it could be manged if you have pervious experience, but to sum it up the meal might be not that good as the meal that you have at house on regular bases. the meal for every month is fixed and it gets boring once you have adapted to it. the review of local PGs are preety goood as compared to hostal but the thing is you should stay with your friends in PGs or else it could end up into bad expirence

The admission process of VIT(Vellore Institute of Technology) is conducted by an centralized examination know as VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Tech Engineering Enterance Examination),in which approximatlly 3lakh student participate every year. The exam is conducted on online platform and the total no of question are 125 question(normal difficulty)in which maths consists of 40 questions,physics and chemistry-35 each Apitude contains 10 questions and English contains 5 question with total time duration of 3 hrs. The results of viteee are decared via online platform,where you should enter applicatioon number to access your result.After entering the application number, your rank scored is dispalyed and if qualified then college branch and couse perferance slot is accessing during a perticular time slot assinged according to your rank. The eligibility for the admission are to obtain more or equal to 75 percentage in board examination(mainly maths,chemistry and physics are mainly considered).
