Campus Environment is great. Feels peaceful to walk.
Assi Ghat is just 3 km away from our hostels.
Professors are well qualified and dedicated.

Dislikes

Safety Concerns due to open campus of BHU.
Distance between Hostel and the lecture theatres is almost a kilometre.
Old Infrastructure due to its 100 yrs of construction.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of Mining Engineering is more towards practicality. The professors are more focused towards the real life applications of mining. They are among the best in their fields with a great amount of field experiences too

Class Size: 126Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

About 12-13 lakhs for 4 year Btech degree , including basic expenses like food, hostel etc. There are many scholarships available all over India which can be applied with the help of the Institute like Reliance Foundation etc.

Campus Life

IIT BHU is having one of the best campus. Greenery is everywhere inside the institute.We are having more than 50 clubs in the institute comprised by 6 councils. Everything from sports to photography are available to pursue in the institute

Admission

Admission to the Institute is Via JEE Advanced. The General Rank required for Male candidate to get admission in IIT BHU is less than 14000 in JEE Advanced based on the ranks branch are available to opt between.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
