what is my college for me

if i talk about common subjects of 1st year. they same as other nits...almost same course compared to other nits. ont thing which is differet here is programme core is also taught in 1st year which is very good i felt. I cant say how good is course but i will definately my branch AIDE is very good and enjoyable subject. C, DM, DSA, FOL these are the subject taught so far and i liked all of them compared to common subjects for 1st year. teachers are very good here but i feel that there can be improvement in lab teachers and some of the labs like chemical and mechanical. offical exams by instute is MTE and ETE but some of the teachers takes quiz also before MTE or ETE.

As i am in first I dont know about the interships and placements very well. However i know some senior of cse who has got intership of upto 1.5 lakh per month in google but its not very good in lower branches like meta ciivl and chemical

placement are good here in MNIT however i have heard a significant drop in placements in this year, however offical data is still not available. the cs and ece pleacements are good this year also but there has been a 2-3 lpa drop in average package

the tution fees is constant from some of the years. after two semester there is no such type of increase in fees. it sum up to almost 230k per year and 920k for 4 years. it is approximate. for sc/st/pwd and and for students less than 1 lalk anual incmoe, full tution feee remmision is there and for incme between 1lpa to 4 lpa 60% tution fee remmsion is there. all the govermant scholarships and almost every famous private scholarship is provided.

the there are two anual big budget fest namely sphinx in novermber and bltizslag in feb and some small fest by 1 or 2 clubs also. actually i dont know about books and library as I do not have taken a single book or did not event go to the library . classrooms are very good with good benches and green board,white board, projectors and smart board in tutorial classrooms. the rooms are ac cooled. wifi facility is not available but it will be installed in the whole building very soon. sports facilities are very good football tennish,table teniss,volley ball, hand ball, cricket, badminton all are here. but one con is no swimming pool is here. dance club and drama club are the most active clubs

hostel rooms- 3 seater for 1 st year sinle seather for 2nd year onwards. upto 1gbps lan connection hostels are very good. mess food i will not say is good. lunch breakfast snacks are good but dinner is very poor here for my hostel, H14. hostel rent is not too high but mess charges are not worth i think depending upon the quality they serve. registration process for hostel is very simple , it happerns to be the last counter of the admission process.

applicant should have 75% above in 12th class. college will be provided in jossa counselling after getting college in jossa, college sends a mail provides userid and ask to pay the fees. they give a date to report and upon reaching college application form and admission are provided and verifies all the documents physically. as mention in jossa for NITS mid term and ent term per semester, the level of exams are moderately easy. the admission process takes too much time about 2-3 hours for a single canditate ..multiple benches for same task should be present to conduct smoothly ans fast
