Campus life is good. You can enjoy in the fest
Jaipur city, the pink city is good. You can enjoy.

Dislikes

Too much pressure of studies as they are having too much subjects
Coding culture is not so good in the collage
Mess food is such a big problem as we have to spend to eat outside

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is a bit tougher side. You have 1 lab daily for 2 hours and total 9 subject are there in first year. So you have to go to the class as there as there is 75% criteria. And research facility is also good in MNIT.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 62500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Summer intern and winter intern are there. In core Texas instruments is there. And many other companies come. You can check on mnit.ac.in websiteabout intern and companies that are visiting the collage.

Placement Experience

Placements are good. Average package of collage is about 13 lpa. For electrical engineering it is 16 lpa, for electronics and communication it is 18 lpa and for computer science it is 21 lpa. Having decent placement percentage about 85 % I guess

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are from general category in total you have to submit 112000 for a semester including all kind of feesI.e.hostel fees, Institute fees, mess fees.You can get a recession when you parents income is less than 8 lakhs and if you are from a category

Campus Life

Overall experience is good. There are 2 fests. Sphinx the technical fest and blitzchlag , cultural fest. You have hostel week and malviya sport tournament, inter-nit sport tournaments . And much more things to explore. The pink city ,etc

Hostel Facilities

Mess quality is not good. Hostels are good. In starting you will like mess but after you will realise aboud mess food. Specially in hostel 14 mess is not good. There are 4 canteens. You can go there. There are stalls in front of deans gate, you can go there

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

You would require minimum of 17,000 rank in jee main for electrical branch and aroung 10,500 for ece branch I had 11,867 so I didn't got ece. Then you should go to josaa round of counselling and then you can also go for csab

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent. I feel lucky to be here because the experience and opportunities are better than what I expected from others....Read More
