- I don't like mess food in mnit which is sometimes unhigenic.
- Different different timing for girls and boys in night time.😉
- No swiming as there is swiming pool in most of nits.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electronics and communication because It was the best branch which I was getting in jossa counseling and I am interested in study of digital circuits and structures.ECE provides good future opportunities in future.I think course can be taught in more practical manner . Exams are more tougher than what I expected.
Internships Opportunities
I can't say about internship as I am in first year but there are some internships available like EPFL switzerland,DAAD (WISE),CERN. Students can go for internships from 2nd year onwards or in 3rd year .
Placement Experience
From the ending of 3rd year students are eligible for placements . Average package of mnit is 1320000 and percentage of students getting placed is around 81% . Highest package was 6400000.My plan after degree is to just to get a good enough placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total tution fees with institute fees is 82000 per semester and hostel fees is 32000 per semester and I can't comment on increase policy as I am in first year I don't know about this policy if it is .There is scholarship available on the basis of parents income .I haven't taken any jobs or roles in campus yet.
Campus Life
Campus Life is best part of mnit Jaipur.There are two fests mainly named Sphinx (technical fest) and Blitzschlag (cultural one) . Sphinx is Rajasthan's largest technical fest.Every type of book which is required is available in library for students.Sports facilities are also good in mnit , almost all equipments and courts are available.there are various clubs in mnit which organises different activities across campus.
Hostel Facilities
I reside in vinodini hostel (H14) which is very good and clean as compared to other hostels in mnit as it is newly constructed. LAN facility is available in every room .I would say meal is average in mnit but it is eatable. Registration of hostels is done at the time of admission.
Admission
Eligibility of the course is just good enough jee mains rank(which is 7000 to 10,000 for general category).I came with my parents for admission with required documents.I submitted documents in suggested order to Admission process was somewhat hectic but it was required.
