Likes

i liked that the campus is lush green with a lot of space and even outlets in campus
the studies and discipline are taken quite seriously
teachers encourage projects and extra stuff more than just pushing for syllabus

Dislikes

no student incharge body is present to ensure our appeals dont go unheard
attendance criteria is often too strict and interferes with student personal lives
no clubs and junior senior interaction can make students feel isolate

Course Curriculum Overview

In my university curriculum is often based on latest subjects combined with old school essentials. Like we are learning AI as of this semester, we also learned CyberSecurity in first semester. Syllabus is kind of easy but somethimes can be challenging. Looking into it its been kind to me.

Placement Experience

in bca as of right now only management feild jobs are being offered and btech hasnt had their placement drive yet. the employment opportunitits are tepid at best. mca students have been offered a package of around 7 lpa. and more than half of students got placement. my plan is to pursue masters and explore better opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

we are to submit fees in 2 installments, 45,600 and 30,400. fees are almost the same in all 3 years. there is a scholarship for students scoring above 70%. plus goverment scolarships are available. as of now there are no on campus employment opportunities offered to us.

Campus Life

the overall campus life in my opinion is average at best. there is a 75% attendence critera though but we still have freedom to explore campus, we have beautiful campus, although not too big. we also have a khana khazana outlet in campus and else stalls are outside campus of samosa and chai etc. hostel food as ive heard is not so good. cafeteria is great and even affordable as we share that with hospital. there aer almost no student run social groups and senior junior interaction is almost forbidden

Admission

The admission process was very smooth. it progressed as expected. A short exam was conducted with basic question to analyse students problem solving skills. BCA course here allows all streams and I was a Science student so eligibility was not a problem. It was very smooth and everyone was cooperative

Balanced College Life at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT)

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placements.Students can become eligible for placements from 3rd year . More than 20 companies visit for campus placements which give multiple offers. Highest package offered -12lpa and average package is around 5lpa.I am planning to pursue MCA after my BCA degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Talk about why I choose BCA I want to become a software engineer and many people in my family have placed on good posts after being inspired by them, I chose this course. All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Mid-term exams are very good and they are also very tough.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
