Course Curriculum Overview
Course is highly relevant with the influence of new education policy, this includes study of core subjects from very first year and it prepares you for real world application and problems. Here exams are frequent to access student focus on studies . In the semester of 4.5 months there is mid term in 1.5 month and end term in one semester.
Internships Opportunities
Average number of intership opportunities are provided in the college specially for computer science students, many a students also got PPO. Companies like de shaw , Expedia , sprinkler etc. Due to recession in current days placements are bit down though this year.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement ifrom the ending of 3rd year . Some of the companies which visited mnit are Adobe ,Amazon ,oracle , Flipkart,JP Morgan etc.Average package of mnit in 2023 was 13.20 lpa and highest was 64 lpa and percentage of students getting placed is 81%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees at mnit is bit high than other Nits but level of infrastructure and facilities are very good . Here , college provides ample number of scholarship opportunities to students so if any student is deprived of finances it will not hault his/ her studies. General fees of college is abt 10 lakh with hostel. Every state scholarship and alumni scholarships are alloted here . For pg students stipend is also provided.
Campus Life
Mnit has very good and exploring campus life. Annually two major fest tech fest (sphinx) and cultural fest (blitzschlag) are conducted in mnit in month of November and Feburary respectively.library is decent, sport facilities are good , classrooms are fully equipped with technology.
Hostel Facilities
Some.of hostels like vinodani has very good infrastructure better than iits , in mnit 1st year students lives in sharing room of 3 after first year single room is provided. Meal quality is good could be better.
Admission
The admission in mnit is through jee mains score ( which is national level exam ) conducted twice every year ( Jan and April tentatively). Student need to clear jee mains to sit in jossa counseling which is allotment door of this College. Once you confirm your seat in mnit through jossa , you will be provided with the link on your Gmail from college to fill fees and student has to report physically in the college to become official student. Jee mains is ncert based examination, level of maths asked is bit higher . Admission process is bit lengthy and tidy as there are many such formalities.
