VIT Bhopal A place to Learn and Enjoy

The curriculum that i chose is Btech CSE ( Specialization in Gaming Technology ) which is the study of how to create games and learn about the gaming world both front end and back end aspect of it. I have keen interest in games so i decided to go for gaming technology specialization. The curriculum that our college provides is excellent for the real-world applications. It is to the point where we learn about everything from scratch to a professional. Our college can improve their classroom facilities and can have more lab area for gaming students to work on also they need to give students a good internet network. The frequency and timmings of exams are also very good as they provide slots for each exams based on the slots students choose when filling their timetable for the semester and the exams are above average in difficulty level.

VIT Bhopal has collaborations in various industries, allowing studnets to pursue internships with reputed companies. They have Summer, Research adn Corporate internship programs and students can pursue any of them. The companies which come for internship are TCS, Infosys, IBM, Oracle, Bosch, Mahindra etc.

The campus placement is pretty good actually with average of 8 lakh/annum and highest placement of 50+ lakh/annum. Students are eligible for placement from fourth year but they can also get placed when in 3rd year through internships. The college make sures that each and every students get placed on campus and VIT Bhopal has streak of 100% placement on campus. The companies whick come for placement are also pretty good from Amazon, Google, Havels, Intel etc are some big companies which come here for placement.

The fee structure of the courses are different for different courses satrting from (almost 2 lakh to 5 lakh/annum). VIT Bhopal provides merit-based, need-based, sports-based and research-based financial aids depending upon students situation. VIT Bhopal provides part-time job opportunities for the students on campus if needed, it provides internship opportunities and also has a record of 100% placement.

The campus life of VIT Bhopal is average. It host a annual fest ADVITYA in Jan or Feb where we have more than 100+ different activities from sports to hackathon even we have celebrities meetup adn concerts. The club activities are pretty frequent, daily we have a activity from a club or two. The infrastructure of our campus is unique as we have almost a good hostel space and academic block space with different labs even gaming lab and aerospace lab with a plane inside to study.

The hostel rooms are of average size with room sizes statring from 2 bedded room to 6 bedded rooms both AC and Non AC. We have a bed and a above average storage space. The meals in mess are also good they change their menu each month and students and warden decides what students will eat for whole month. The hostel affordability is decent , the fees for hostel room can vary from 1.2 lakh to 2 lakh ruppees. The eligibilty criteria for Btech CSE is very simple we need to get 75%+ in out boards examination to fill the application form for VITEEE exam from the VIT Bhopal Website to get selected in Btech CSE.The application fees isa round 1100. The timming of the exam is pretty good with morning, afternoon and evening slots, also they have their exam centers all around India even in some remote areas. The exam is average in difficulty level almost as difficult as JEE-Mains.
