Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is good but not updated modern technology and industry related things should be included in the curriculum but still it is the best if we compare from other tier colleges in the country.Exams are held twice each semester one is mid semester exam and other is end semester.
Internships Opportunities
Internship season starts in june and July with most companies preferring students from circuital branches and most of the students go for intern role in sde, product, consulting and core profiles. Stipend depends on profile but sde and quant profile offer max stipend.
Placement Experience
Campus placement are good with nearly 70-80 of students placed and these numbers are even Higher in circuital branches. Campus placement starts in first week of December. Highest package is 1.68 crore and minimum is 7 lpa. More than 200 companies visit campus and more than thousand students are placed.I am planning for campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
For students from general category or students whose parents income is more than 5 lakhs annually fees is nearly 242000 which also includes mess fees which is 30000 annually. Fee remission is available for students from ews category which again depends on annual income of parents.
Campus Life
One of the best campus life among iits since it is an open campus there are some cons also but it is good. There are three main fests kashiyatra, technex and spardha which are cultural , tech and sports fest respectively. Sports facilities are good with nearly all indoor and outdoor sports being played. All the relevant books related to syllabus are available in the library.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good with new hostels being constructed. 3 students stay in single room in 1nd and 2nd year respectively there rooms are triple sharing.Mess is good with nice food both veg and non veg food items are prepared. Hostel Registration is online and it is affordable as compared to rented flats.
Admission
For getting into IIT one have to clear JEE mains exams which is held twice a year and then Clear JEE advanced exam with good rank. Application forms for the same can be filled online and admission process is online on jossa platform. Reservation is offered to students from obc/sc/st and ews category.
