- The club is good.The campus itself is beautiful.
- The faculties here are not so great.what I mean is old faculties are good and new faculties don't have enough experience.
- The infrastructure of bulidings and events held and the decorations are all enjoy worthy.
Dislikes
- The focus on theory more than practical experience is major con.
- The events held, shouldn't the fund be provided by the college and shouldn't the students need not pay anything.
- I have heard that hostel food is not satisfactory and mostly bland.
Course Curriculum Overview
My branch is Electronics and Computer Science and it's curriculum includes both hardware and software study. The curriculum is not bad but can be improved by adding more practical sessions than theory as theory can take you only so far and what we need to survive is practical experience.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by college on various topics like VLSI,Data Structure ,Data Algorithm etc. NITs and IITs offer stipend internships but those institutions prefer higher year students ,being a second year it's hard to get a internship.
Placement Experience
Placements do come to the college and the average salary offered is about 2.5-3.5lpa. But the companies that come and the jobs they offer are not satisfactory though not all since there are some good placements. The highest package received is 21lpa by a ECE student and was recruited in Western Digital.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition for one year is 123k and the rest three year are 121k totalling to around 5lakhs. The scholarships are available which almost halfs your whole fees or can just take the scholarships from state portals.
Campus Life
The overall experience is not bad other than the immense pressure on studies which obviously will be there considering its btech. The clubs provide good hangout and learning spot. The library provides a good number of books ,having almost all the books needed. There's a annual event called Sankalp which is a 2-day event.
Admission
The admission was smooth. The cut-off for JEE examination for CSE branch was 50 and same with IT and for ECE,EEE,EE,ECS the cut-of was around 30. The application form can be found in the administrative buliding inside the college.
