Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well rated with new good changes made already as the course is revised as per new education policy and now for the future admissions the course is based on more practical knowledge and application based and we also have compulsory internship in the 8th sem, over curriculum is well made
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are Majorly available in third year and final year as we have compulsory internship in final year/ final semester for 6 months and we have 2 aummer internship opportunities in 2nd year and 3rd year. We can opt for research internship in our college and other colleges as well as industrial internships
Placement Experience
Placements are offered in our course with PSUs also offering placements, and ghe placement percentage is good for B.Tech and research and placement is good for Science (Masters ) students, also percentage placement is over 70 and average package is 8-10 lacs
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are available for students if they are facing financial issues, also if you fall under the Ews( economically weaker section) that is less then 5 lpa income then you have 66% fee remission in tution fees
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest is named Sparsh, and the annual technical fest is named as Mindbend, also we have great fests in our college with celebrity coming up and overall students interaction in clubs and social groups is good as well
Hostel Facilities
Hostel accommodation in our college is good with double rooms for 1st,2nd,3rd and single room for the final year students, also the mess food is good with special items being served atleast twice a week
Admission
Courses are eligible through JOSAA counselling and I got a percentile of 97 in my JEE Mains, and after counselling I got my branch of Electrical engineering jn SVNIT. The counselling process was smooth with the entire process including hostel admission being completed in a day smoothly, and during the application fee payments you have to pay around 15000 rs, and reservation benefits are availed as SC,ST students don't have to pay the institute fee and only have to pay the hostel fees whereas EWS and OBC students get a 66% fee remission in institute fees, and no other benefits for general students were there. Area of improvement according to me were that the admission process could have been made smoother with more people being involved in it, and online wise everything was easy to find regarding the dates and the admission process on both the sites of JOSAA for counselling and the official website of svnit for college registration dates of different things. Over-all it's worth it in end
