The scope of computer science and engineering is very important in modern real time word. Our college provides a good environment and curriculum in favour of this course. There is a good coding culture and communication between seniors and juniors. IOTA club NIT Jalandhar is such example. It provides the resources as well as guidance for any coding language, placement preparation and all. Our department faculties are expert and cooperative. They teach well and take exam in a much well manner. I think 75 percent attendance criteria for exam should be lowered to some extent as till 60 or 65 percent. The frequency of exams is well .

Basically internship opportunity is given by the same companies which come for placement. Both on campus and off campus internship is available. From 3rd year , it is easy to take internship. They want project related to the interest in internship. Recently one of our seniors, got intern in Microsoft. Microsoft, Amazon, oracle ,samsung and Bharti Airtel are some companies giving internship.

The percent of placement in nit Jalandhar is good. It has a good aluminni network and many companies visit every year. Here placement and internship is given by top companies as Microsoft, Google , samsung etc. one can take internship from 3rd year. In CSE placement percent is upto 99%. The highest package till now is 1.2Cr and average package is about 17LPA. Off campus placement are also offers to students. I am in 1st year. After completing my degree my plan is to get a good placement in tech companies in AI and ML field.

The tution fees for one year is about 1 Lac. For hostels and mess service charges about 50000 per year. So total of 150000Rs/ per year. For the Btech course it is around 6 Lac. College provides a good opportunity for internship from 3rd year. Also there is a department for scholarship guidance in which the information is given by respective facilities about scholarship by government or non government agencies. College aslo provides some scholarship through RSSWF. In my view it is affordable institute. Now college has continuosly increasing job opportunities and nirf ranking is also being improved. Almost everyone has a chance for on campus placement, that's a good point.

My college is situated in Jalandhar outside the city in area 155 acres with beautiful infrastructure.we have two main big play grounds for athletics, football and cricket also courts for badminton, basketball, volleyball and almost all games facility is available. Overall 13 hostels are there including 10 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels. The main annual fest of our college is UTKANSH, which is held in March. Bharat dhwani is also one of the fest. Techniti is our technical fest where many technology based activities are performed. In our college clubbing culture is very decent. Dance, music, fashion, acting , social work club, literary and debate club , NSS, NCC and sports,IOTA clubs are there helping to develop good skills and providing opportunities for different competitions in different colleges.

Hostel choosing option is available during the admission. It is basically online from college website in students corner one can apply. You can choose your roommates also. Hostel charge is submitted during fees payment. Mess advance fees is paid separately which is 25000Rs/ for one semester. In which 7500Rs/ is reduced for mess service charge and rest amount is for your meal. Mess bill is shown every month. Mess in nit Jalandhar is driven by students committee with cooperation with warden sir and other faculties. Mess secretary with his /her mess committee sets menu for mess and can make changes every month. That's why mess food quality is good. In a room one bed , almirah,and table chair is given separately. For first year and second year sharing rooms are given. If anyone want single room or other facilities, will be charged extra according to facilities given which is decided by chief warden sir

My institute is a central government college, NIT Jalandhar. For the admission we should have minimum cut off in jee main examination. For computer science and engineering it was 98.23 percentile minimum. We can take admission here according to seat allocation through jossa counseling or CSAB rounds. After the seat allocation in counselling and confirmation of seat , online details should be submitted and then there will be physical reporting in the college in given date for full admission process. For hostel allocation you can apply online also from home or while physical reporting. For any difficulty ,seniors and faculty are there for help.
