Likes

I like the campus and greenery here. Students are quite friendly.
College is in the city area so you can find anything you need in the near markets.
Sports opportunities are good here for health and fun.

Dislikes

Mess food is not so good here in some hostels.
Sewage leakages is also a problem sometimes.
Campus placements are not too good this year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was quite keen to do the Engineering in Civil stream. There are many labs that gives the real world application. Courses can be imporved by introducing modern technology in it . Professors are quite experienced in the college.

Class Size: 111Course Fees: INR 186000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees for a year are 186000 and hostel fees are 64000 per year. There are so many scholarships available for the students like- Scholarships from the Rajasthan government and State governments and other than that fee relaxation is there for various income groups students.

Campus Life

We spent our Starting one and half year at home due to covid but after that we have very good and quiet enjoyable here. There are some fest at MNIT like Spinx, Blitz and youthfest etc. Library is quite good and you can find all the books related to your course. There are many sports event also that is enjoyable.

Admission

I cleared JEE MAINS to get the admission in the college. In the admission process we were supposed to do the document verification. Jee main is conducted every year. A student should have decent score in Jee Mains to get Admission in college.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
