Course Curriculum Overview
The course am studying is very much relevant and has real world applications. In ece you are taught about electrical circuits, a bit of computer science and technology and science related to communication. You are taught about signals and systems and electronic deviced and circuits and many more which are not only interesting but very much useful in real world as well. The areas of improvement which i fell is the class size must be reduced or the class must be divided into sections so that the professors can pay more attention to each and every student. The exams are held quite often and the level is to be honest on the difficult side.
Internships Opportunities
From third year onwards you become eligible to get an internship. The students generally start preparing it from second year onwards. There are lots of companies who offer summer internships in mnit such as google, microsoft and many more. They offer roles such as SDE SE etc. The students have to appear in written tests and go through rounds of interviews to get an internship
Placement Experience
Our college has a great record when it comes to campus placements. Third year students become eligible for internships while the fourt yearites are eligible to appear for camlus placenents. There are lots of top tech giants and mncs who visit mnit to offer placements such as google microsoft apple siemens oracle and many more the average package varies depending on your course for cse it is 20 lpa nad for ece it is 18.5 lpa. The highest package offered last year was 72 lpa. About 90 to 95% students end uo getting a job. So mnit is a good place if you wish to get a placement after your degree
Fees and Financial Aid
As such there is no tution fee increase policy in nits i guess. The complete cost of education here in nit jaipur costs around 8.5 laks to 10 lakhs including the hostel and mess fees. The fees what i fell is decent according to the facilities we get here. There are fee waivers available but mostly they are for the reserved classes so individuals who need them can apply for it.
Campus Life
There are 2 major festivals. The one is the annual cultural fest named blitzchlag and the other is the technical fest called the sphinx. Blitz generally happens in the month of feb while for sphinx it is november. Mnit has well equiped classrooms and library. The sports and extracurricular culture here is extravagant and appreciable. The sports complex provides facility for all kind of sport activities. Lots of cluvs and socities are there for the overall development of the child and finding their actual intersts. The overall campus life is really happening
Hostel Facilities
Hostels here are quite impressive. Spacious rooms with proper ventilation and sanitation are provided. For first yearites, a triple sharing room is provided with three beds and 3 almirahs. The rooms are big enough to accomodate 3 people. The quality of meal is okayish. Not that good but also not that bad. The hostel allotment is done on the very day of physical reporting itself.
Admission
You need to get a rank and clear the cutoff of your desired course. The admission involves a seat allotment process through the jossa website where u fill preferences and according to your rank and prefernce order your are alloted a college and course. Then u need to appear for physical reporting where the dinal admiasions take place. It is a well dedined process and is acrually very smooth. U get admission in nits through jee mains which is a decent levelled exam. It is conducted twice a year one in january and another one in april. Once u clear the cutoff percentile u get to write the jee advanced which is one of the toughest exams in the world through which you can get yourself into iits.
