Likes

College has good placement record, there is no hard and fast rule for minimum attendance.
Faculty members are very supportive and they guide you in almost every sector of your life.
All classrooms have ACs installed in them There is a boys hostel inside campus.

Dislikes

College is situated far from Metro Station. You have to take auto rickshaw which consumes minimum 15 minutes from Metro station to college.
Cultural fest are very limited main fest is organised in the university at GGSIPU dwarka.
Some labs have very old PC installed in them.

Course Curriculum Overview

AIML is an emerging branchbin future so I took that opportunity. It has a new syllabus which is the best part as now you don't have to go through the old pattern which is not very much effective. Exams are not that difficult.

Campus placements are fine Students are eligible for placements from their 6th semester Many reputed companies visit our college,Like Amazon, ZS, Accenture, and many more. You have to maintain minimum 7.5 CGPA to sit in placements. Only IT companies visit our college No core company. Comes to college for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Btech is a 4 year course and the approximate fees for 4 years is around 5 lakhs to 6 lakhs. Delhi government provides scholarship for students along with GGSIPU ALSO PROVIDE VARIOUS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS WITH THE CONDITIONS THAT THERE SHOULD BE NO BACKLOGS

Campus Life

Campus life is very amazing. There are many Tech societies with cultural societies. For example we have a society for drawing we have a society for photography etc. There is a library present in the college which has a feature of Book Bank in which you have to make a security deposit which is refundable and you can get books that can be issued for a very long period of time

Admission

Addmission was on Jee mains rank basis and apply to GGSIPU counselling rounds. They have reservations for Delhi quota, OBC. There is no separate exam for college. Can get CSE or IT branches on 94 percentile or on 90 percentile in spot round

Placement Experience:

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

Descriptive Review of MAIT.

Placement Experience:

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

The placement status of the college is nice but specially the older status was amazing and the seniors told me that this year was the recession time so the placement was not so good but it will be good with time

Placement Experience:

The eligible students get placements, from 4tg year first semester onwards placements will start, companies like Accenture, tcs, infotech, wipro will attend. I think atleast 7GPA is min required for college placements

Life of a college student

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum.My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated.For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem.There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Delhi Technological University: A place for overall development

Placement Experience:

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company.Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

igdtuw is a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

placement in igdtu is as good as dtu and nsut , many companies visit our campus every year like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe, vipro, uber, ola, atlassian etc. the highest package in 2023 was of 51 LPA by microsoft and average package is around 20 LPA

DTU PROS AND CONS

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki,etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
