The college also has many good food outlets inside the college

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and specific to your selected course, To test your knowledge they will keep many exams. The students also need to make projects so that they are good in implementation and get familiar with real time projects

Internships Opportunities

There will be many top companies coming to the college and provide placement and internship opportunities companies like Microsoft, Amazon, paypal, de shaw, Morgan Stanley, jo Morgan, etc visit every year. The stipend of these companies will be around 50000 to 60000.

Placement Experience

The college lots of placement opportunities for the students but finally it depends on the students whether they grab it or not. 90 percentage of students get placed every year in top companies.In 2023 the highest package was around 1.02 crore whereeas the average package is 8 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of your education completely depends on your score VITEE exam. If a student gets category 1 their total cost will be around 9 lakhs, for category 2 the total cost will be around 13 lakhs whereas for category 3 the total cost would be around 15 lakhs, whereas for category 4 the total cost will be around 17 lakhs and last for category 5 the total cost will be around 20 lakhs.

Campus Life

The campus life is good, and strict as well. There will be a technical fest called technocit which will be held in the winters around october and there will be an annual festival called vibrance where country's top celebrities will entertain you. There are many clubs where you can be a part of and learn many useful and technical things

Admission

The whole admission process depends on your VITEE rank. VITEE is an entrance exam to get get admission into VIT, and based on score in VITEE exam you will get the admission into VIT. If you get a good score in exam you will get a good course with less fees whereas if you get a bad score you will get the same course but you need to pay high fees. The area of improvement in this admission process is that due to this category system you will find your class not that competitive.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
