Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for bcom hons. I choosed it because it covers a wide area in the field of commerce, provides diversification for the students. It don't have much practical life implications as the curriculum is too outdated. Curriculum should be adopted as per the latest need. Exams are held in every 6 months and level of exams are medium.

Internships Opportunities

Our college has a separate internship cell named encode which provides various internship opportunities. Companies like Deloitte come for internship offers. The work mainly includes accounting, Reaserch and database management.

Placement Experience

5th sem and 6th sem students are eligible for the campus placements. The campus placements are quite good. The highest package goes upto 21LPA. The average package goes to 7-8 LPA. Companies like zomato, Deloitte, kpmc, pwd etc. are there. Over 70% students from my course get placed. My future plan is to go for mba

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for my course is Rs.13,500. There are various fee waiver program for ews and pwd students. The total fees is Rs. 45000 something including exam fees and everything. Campus employment are said to be Top5 in country for B.com hons.

Campus Life

Our principal has cancelled all the fests in our college which is the worst part about our college. Our library has over 80000 books and the ambience is also quite good for it. Classrooms are well occupied with smart boards. Sports facilities are good. There are over 60 societies and clubs in college for various causes.

Admission

The elegibility of course required to study 3 domain subjects and 1 language in cuet. Application form are there on nta website. Fees for the form was 750/- Exams are quite easy. Normalisation should have been better

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
