It's infrastructure is really impressive
Campus Life is really happening due to various events occuring on regular basis
Many active societies such as nss , dance society, dramatic society .

Dislikes

Attendance is compulsory and very strict in terms of attendance criteria.
No internship opportunities provided to the students by the college.
There is no auditorium in the college campus.

I am currently pursuing bcom honours ( commerce field)from Shaheed Bhagat Singh college Delhi University and will rate bcom honours course 10/10 . It really prepares well for the real world application and to pursue further higher education (pg courses).

Last year the highest package of Shaheed Bhagat Singh college Delhi University was 21 lakhs per Annum and it's average package is 5 lakhs per annum which is really impressive in itself. Various companies like Deloitte,TCS, Wipro come in Shaheed Bhagat Singh college,Delhi University to recruit students.

Yes there are scholarships and financial assistance provided in delhi university for the students who cannot afford the fee structure. My fees for bcom honours first year in Shaheed Bhagat Singh college Delhi University is 13505 ruppee. .

Campus Life here in Shaheed Bhagat Singh college Delhi University is really happening and eventful. There are more than 20 societies of which students can be a part of and being part of various societies makes your life very happening and eventful. You will get enough opportunities to participate and enjoy alongside. Infrastructure too is also satisfactory.

Yes I gave the entrance exam known as cuet ug entrance exam.The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), earlier known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET)[1] is an all-India test being organized by National Testing Agency for admission to various doctorate, Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Integrated Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses and Research Programmes in 45 Central Universities of India. It is also accepted by number of other State Universities and Deemed universities in India. I applied for Delhi University and gave the exam cuet and prepared a list of colleges I wanted to get admission in and got admission in Shaheed Bhagat Singh college Delhi University.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
