Course Curriculum Overview

As I'm in computer science department more or less our curriculum is based on the computer language and hardware implementation more on practical's better then bookish knowledge faculty is chill we have the attendance criteria of 75 %

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides internship opportunities to the student at summer Break after the completion of 6th semester with good companies for the purposes of internship more for the computer science and electronics student

Placement Experience

Percentage of student got placed is around 80 percent with the highest placement of 44 Lakh annually CTC and the average of 10 lakh annual CTC and Minimum of 3 lakh annual CTC . A lot of big companies comes for the college placement program.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is around 70000 per semester 1/3 fees for the once who have family income between 0-5 lakh Annually and No tuition fees for SC/ST 34000 around Hostel fees per semester 19500 mess fess semester 4000 room fees per year double occupancy

Campus Life

Svnit provides a Huge campus with each department having separate building and too provide all the sports ground like volleyball ,cricket basket ball ,lawn tennis. We have gym and indoor pool and badminton court . We have so many clubs depending on our intrerest and development We have two fast one techniquual and a calture both are best in Gujarat

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room is provided with fan and lights and 2 bed 2 study table and a balcony with 2 windows. Hostel is provided with lift , indoor game room, Tv room and Canteen. Mess provide us 3 meals a day mess food is decent not so good nor so bad

Hostel Fee: INR 38000 per year

Admission

I have appeared for JEE then got good percentile in that so I then appeared for Joosa counciling for the admission process and I first round I got admission in NIT Patna Computer Science and in second round I got admission In NIT surat computer Science then I locked my option in second round

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
