- Unstable internet connectivity and various games are also banned on college internet connection.
- No source of hot drinking water. Its either cool or normal but not hot.
- Admission process is a bit confusing for new students as it has to be done in both means online and offline.
Course Curriculum Overview
There were no specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course.the curriculum prepares very well for the real world applications as we have to do labs for most of the things ,all experiments has to be done by students.the teaching methods are still old. We have two major exams in a semester and exams are moderately difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies offer a internship roles to students from 3rd and 4th year. As the college has a training and placement cell ,students are well prepared to Crack the interview and get a stipend as high as 1 lakh per month in some cases .
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester. Various companies like samsung , Texas instructions also come here for placements . The highest packages are in the range of 60 to 70 Lakhs which are being given to ece and Cs students. Most of the students are being placed nearly 80 percentage overall.as each branch has different percentages. I would be looking ahead for further opportunity.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no specific increase in tuition fee,it is mostly constant across all the semesters. Each semester has a total cost of nearly 1.3 lakhs which brings the total to nearly 11 lakhs for the whole btech course.various scholarship are provided by the college and you are also free to enroll in any other scholarship if you know one.loans from banks like icici and sbi are available in campus .
Campus Life
Mnit has two annual fests one being technical and other being cultural fest.technical fest is named as sphinx and cultural is named as blitzschlag. Blitz is held in February and sphinx is held in November. The library is very vast and books are easily and readily available. Classrooms are equipped with digital boards and projectors and each Classroom is air conditioned. There is wide range of outdoor and indoor sports which you can try out and competitions are also held on regular basis. Various clubs such as photography, robotics, etc are being run by students, this clubs give a proper interaction with seniors and helps to learn about how the institute and things work in real life.
Hostel Facilities
Every room is equipped with fans and tubelights also each room has lan for internet usage. Meal is quite basic with a special meal once a month, the quality is pretty average. For hostel you have to register on erp ,then you are allocated a room according to the availability. Both mess and hostel costs 32000 per semester.
Admission
One who has completed his 12th is eligible for this course .application form is to be found on the college website. Fees has to paid by online means like net banking or by cards on college erp.reservation will give you benifit like getting seat at even higher rank.exams are every 2 months during the semister (midsem and endsem),they are moderately hard . They should provide physical (offline )assistance for form filling and for other process which now are only by online means.
