IIM Kashipur student review

The course and its inspiration from the top institutes of the world and the various study methodology which have been adopted by the institute which include case studies, projects as well as industry exposure which led me to choose this institute rather than other B-schools and it also provides industry exposure. The curriculum is very much updated to the real world scenarios. Either it be the constant evolution in the market or the skills required. The course totally take care of it and ensure that the students get the best knowledge which is as per as the market standard and also considering future prospects. The exams at a Bschools are very comprehensive focusing on more of application based approach and every term there are quizzes , projects and end and mid term exams on which one is evaluated thus making it a continuous evaluation process.

The curriculum has a compulsory internship which is part of the course under which students have to work for the industry for two months after their first year and they are also being paid stipend for their work and the various company which came on Campus are ICICI bank reliance Tata Tata motors, Tata steel MTR foods, KPMG, Deloitte. During an internship, the students are given the exposure of the real world problems as well as the industry experience by which they became ready for their upcoming future and their upcoming future positions they will be working for us.

The students in the fourth term became eligible for the placement process in the second year and companies started their placement process from the starting of second year to the end of second year and the various companies which came on Campus are Tata Tata steel, Godrej, Infosys, Accenture, Byju, HDFC, ICICI, bank et cetera. There are total more than 120 companies which come to the campus every year to recruit students, the highest package for the campus is more than 35 lakhs and the average revolves around 18 to 19,00,00 per annum . Each year, the college achieve is hundred percent placement and most of the students during the MBA course opt for the placements and some of them move abroad for further studies and also take up the entrepreneurship.

The current tuition fees of the course including hostel fees is 18 lakhs which excludes the mess fees for so for each term. One have to pay 2,82,000 for one term that is three months and in each year we have three terms so which makes the course of totally 6 term courses ,2,82,000 consist of curriculum that is the course fee as well as the hostel fees. The total charges for 2years comes to be 18lakhs including everything. The need based scholarships are available to the students.

The experience at IIM Kashipur is very different and it is one of its kind of an experience with the academics we had different and a lot number of events which are happening across the year. Either it be educational, cultural or sports or any other kind of activities students are being engaged so that they get the full exposure of their two year MBA course, ani is the annual fest followed by Uttistha. ie the E- Sumit happening every year and other than these. We have small number of events that is being conducted in the college itself. The campus is equipped with a very big library which is fully equipped with resources and books and journals for the students for their as well as the research. The classrooms are well equipped with required technology,as well as the design is in such a way that each student is able to interact with each other as well as the instructor We have more than 40+ student bodies who run the whole campus making it a student run campus.

The campus is equipped with very well structured hostels with attached washrooms and common rooms on each floor and each floor is provided with the washing machine, microwave oven and a dryer so that it could help students to live their of the life well. The cleanliness in the hostel is also ensured by regular housekeeping. The hostels are also temperature controlled by radiant, heating and cooling. The food that I am Kashipur is very good as it is a student run mess With menu changing every month and we got different variety of foods every day which is hygienic as well as have a good taste. The hostels are compulsory at IIM Kashipur. So during admission process, you are automatically allotted hostels. Since it is a residential course, so hostels are compulsory, so one cannot accommodate him or herself outside the campus during the course.

Eligibility The eligibility for the course is minimum 45% in graduation with common admission test (CAT) exam should be cleared and sectional criteria should be met and for work experience although there is no compulsion of having a work experience but yet if you have work experience in, you will get a certain amount of weightage which would be benifitial as it gets calculated during your final admission process. Application form - The application form is Comman for the MBA COURSE I.e. CAP.The form is free of cost and it is floated after CAT results. Under this process you need to fill a single form and have to undergo a single process for a pool of IIMs. The reservation benifits are the same as per se ter government rules and also scholarships for need based or unprivileged students. The CAT exam is conducted in Nov every year only once a year.The exam is tricky and test your analytical approach. It requires 3-4 months of dedicated preparation. Process of exam is good enough

The admission process to IIM-Kashipur is through CAP process that is common admission process which is conducted by various IIM's every year and for that the eligibility is your CAT score you have to get a minimum required CAT score with getting a minimum required sectional cut-offs to. Once the sexual cut-off as well as the minimum CAT percentile is achieved, one have to sit for common interview which is being conducted by the cap process only and once the interview process is done, a composite score is being calculated for different different institutes and each institute have their different criteria for selection and once the score is calculated then on merit basis, the seats are offered to various number of students. For the exam that is CAT exam. I prepared all by myself referring YouTube as well books and for the interview process I referred to YouTube videos just to how to prepare for interviews and I also had given more interviews at my nearby institutes to ensure preparation.
